A Mycoal body warmer provides a concentrated heat source for up to 24 hours at a time. It can be placed in a pocket or anywhere close to your body where heat is required. The operational temperature is c 50 degrees c, with a maximum of 65 degrees. The contents are safe, non-toxic and non-inflammable, but always read the instructions carefully before use. Ideal for camping, hiking, skiing, but also for any activity where you are outdoors, such as fishing, gardening, watching sporting events, or even location filming. When supplied, each pack has a shelf life of approximately two years. You are buying a full carton of 20 individually wrapped body warmers.

Mycoal products have made many a winter outdoor trip far longer and more comfortable. I love them. Hand, feet and body are always in stock in cold weather.But I'm giving this a lower rating to register my disappointment that I find they've removed the sticky back. You need it on a body warmer. Without it we're just losing them down trouser legs! It really isn't practical or as comfy at all.I'm sure it was a measure to save money in uneconomical times. Using a length of masking or micropore tape will keep it in place. They do stay warm a long time. I've worn them overnight camping in the cold or staying in unheated places, or just if I have to be out in very cold weather as I have difficulty keeping my core temperature up.It's only if you let them get exposed to air a lot they'll burn out a little sooner.

Have bought these before - & price has gone down! Really good body-warmers: one use only but heat fast and last about 8 hours.
