Well built. Instructions were a little tricky but if you can put other things together you can put this together in about 15min. Holds bike well, but I still use bungee cords and Velcro straps as a precaution. I’ve only used it a couple times so time will tell how well it holds up. I would haul a bike anywhere with this rack.

I purchased this to hold a wheel chair or walker to put on the back of my Honda Fit. It works great and was such a lower cost option than getting other types of hitch mounted devices for that same purpose.

I purchased this bike rack in 2023, and after just one season, the square/cotter pin that holds the upright feature in place failed. The pin is attached to the rack by a thin piece of wire to prevent loss — yet by the following season, it was gone. I reached out to forwodebike.com to buy a replacement. Their response? "This component cannot be disassembled separately. We are very sorry that this product has been improved and upgraded, and currently, there are no old version accessories available."Translation: they knowingly sell a product with a small but critical part that can’t be replaced — and when it inevitably fails, your entire rack is useless. That’s unacceptable. A $5 part should not be the death of an expensive rack. I’ll attempt a retrofit to salvage my purchase, but the fact that Forwode’s answer was essentially “too bad” says everything about their customer service and their commitment to existing customers. This is not how you build trust or brand loyalty. Save yourself the frustration. Choose a company that stands behind its products and supports the people who buy them.

Fits medium to large bikes. It won’t fit my son’s 18” bike. Not an issue as I just use it for storage of them but if I were to use it for travel it would be an issue
