I'm disabled and spent a lot of money a few months ago having a standard bathroom turned into a customised wet room. Everything has been wonderful since then, apart from the curtains that draw round the shower and prevent water splashing everywhere. I can't reach up very high to grab the curtains before moving them into position, i.e. open or closed, and after 4 months the plastic gliders began to detach from the rail. For obvious reasons I then had to rely on someone else to fit the gliders back in place, only for the same (or a few different) ones to detach the next time I had a shower.Browsing Amazon to find a solution to the problem brought me to these hooks, which looked to be of good enough quality to last for a while. And all I can say is, they've transformed the way the curtains pull open and closed. In order not to make the curtains too short, the hooks have been fitted over the rail, then looped into the large plastic C hooks already fitted to the curtains. And I can open and close them again, with no catches or jerky movements or bits of plastic detaching themselves from the rail. Instead, the curtains glide smoothly even with my short reach. If I could give these hooks more than 5 stars I would, because of the way they've transformed the way my shower curtains open and close.

These are the very best SS rings I've used. Similar ones claiming to be SS have proved to rust badly after a time! These have not rusted so far. However, here is a tip worth passing on. Careless or aggressive opening and closing of the shower curtain can result in the upper part of the clip coming out of the small shallow channel into which it sits. A 35mm length of strong electrical hollow tubing (internal dia 3mm) in white or translucent, slipped over the upper part of clip and, when clip closed, slipped down to cover the retaining channel, solves the problem nicely.

The look really nice, easy to attach and have no issues after 18 months! Highly recommend!
