Giordino delights readers with this silly, sexy, thought-provoking comic. It follows the dreamland adventures of the beautiful Little Ego (Freudian slip here?) as she has dreams, usually of a sexual nature. In dreams, normal rules of time, space, and morality do not apply. They certainly don't in Little Ego's dreams. Usually she wakes up after her dream with plans to discuss them with her therapist.This book seems like an innocuous little comic strip that serves mainly to titillate. That it does, but it is thought provoking as well. The introduction explores the many ways of thinking about dreams- are they as important as reality? Is reality really a dream? If we dream it, does it come true? Little Ego makes us ask ourselves all of these questions as she embarks on her silly sensuous misadventures. This is a delightful adult comic.

Delightfully silly and dirty, easy to read and very nice artwork that reminds me of Milo Manara in many ways. Its short sweet and fun if you are a fan of dirty cartoons or lighthearted saucy adventures with a sexy damsel then you will like this bright, fun collection will fit in your library no problem.

This is a bit dated in its content, but great fun for anyone who has a fantasy life. Dreams, whether day or night, are such great way to do things our conscience lives would never allow. This book gives us a chance to share in someone's else's dreams and maybe even help with ours.

Fun little book. I read it years ago & wanted to add it to my collection of oddities. I still have it 10 years later

This charming and delightfully erotic book succeeds as both a parody of and tribute to Winsor McCay as well as being a quite effective piece of erotica.Ever the champion of Winsor McCay's more adult strip "Dreams of The Rarebit Fiend" (the Dover collection is excellent) I feel compelled to point out that despite the title, much of this book is more directly influenced by Rarebit than by Little Nemo - most of the shorter episodes at the beginning are based on very specific Rarebit strips (all in the Dover collection).  Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend Also, though I could be wrong, is it not the artist's intention that Little Ego is awakened in the final panel of each strip by achieving orgasm? That's my impression.

The book arrived quickly and in great condition. This is an amazing addition to my collection of hardcover graphic books from L'il Abner to Robert E Howard.

In meiner Teenagerzeit habe ich jene Comics verschlungen, wobei es kaum eines gibt das mir so stark in Erinnerung geblieben ist wie dieses. Die kleine Ego erlebt jede Nacht in ihren Träumen wilde (erotische) Abenteuer, die in Kurzgeschichten auf wenigen Seiten, hübsch gezeichnet präsentiert werden. Die Bilder sind erotisch ohne besonders explizit zu sein. Abbildungen von Genitalien sucht man hier vergeblich. Trotzdem gehört Little Ego zu den Werken, dass ich doch gerne mit nur einer Hand lese, einfach weil die Geschichten originell bis skurril und die Protagonistin total heiß ist. Schade dass es nie eine Fortsetzung gegeben hat...

Quel plaisir visuel que ce "Little Ego" au charme vintage. Ligne claire au trait épuré qui rappelle à la fois Moebius et Manara, avec une touche art déco, l'oeuvre est découpée en histoires d'une ou plusieurs planches et narre les péripéties oniriques de l'héroïne aux jolies courbes, qui finit toujours par se réveiller en sedemandant ce que son psy pensera de son rêve.Ses rêves sont bien sûr toujours coquins, flirtant donc avec une réalité aux frontières floues, ce qui permet à l'auteur tous types de dérives, sans jamais tomber ni dans l'excès, ni dans la vulgarité. La demoiselle friponne est confrontée à des hommes, des femmes, qu'ils soient réels ou pas, et moultes bizareries décalées.Cet opus est agrémenté de 8 pages supplémentaires par rapport à son édition initiale, mais prenez gare, vous devrez parler anglais pour vous y frotter, cette version étant imprimé dans la langue de Shakespeare.L'un des plus belaux dessins érotiques que j'ai vus.
