It put a little residue round the edge of the tub , but kind of to be expected if your going to get the small bits to cling together. It was easy enough to wipe around the tub waterline to clean

I can't believe how quickly this product worked. After shocking my hot tub and the water was still cloudy, i used a little extra of SpaGuard and in two hours it was clear as a bell. You'll need to clean the filter and skim the top where the pollutants will gather. Highly recommend!
