White Horse Hair - 1/4 lb

My wife found an old rocking horse that had been well ridden so his mane was worn off. This product worked great at replacing the mane.

The hair comes packaged in one clump per color/type. Even though the description says 13-15 inches long, the hair is not as long as I pictured it to be. It is still very usable and nice. The white hair was in uneven lengths (maybe the "end" of the tail?). The black hair is more consistently uniform but seems to be a "middle" cut of the tail. I will definitely use both of these hairs for an Indian shirt dress I'm making, but for projects that need lengthy hair hanging down, buy the 2+ foot lengths.

This was even shorter than described in the description.

This horse hair is synthetic. I could tell instantly from touching it, and I confirmed it with a flame test. The product description clearly claims that it’s genuine. Will definitely be returning.
