Cut the Clutter with this Charging Station
I've been using the Anker Prime 200W 6-Port Charging Station for several weeks, and it has significantly reduced the clutter on my desk. Instead of juggling multiple charging bricks and power adapters, I can charge nearly all of my devices from a single compact unit. The biggest advantage is the power output. It has no problem charging my MacBook Pro while simultaneously powering my phone, tablet, earbuds, and other USB-C devices. Charging speeds have been consistently fast, and I haven't noticed any performance issues when multiple ports are in use. The GaN technology also helps keep the charger relatively compact for the amount of power it delivers. Build quality is excellent, which is what I've come to expect from Anker products. The unit feels solid, the ports are sturdy, and it stays stable on my desk. I also appreciate the clean desktop design, which makes cable management much easier compared to having several chargers plugged into a power strip. Another feature I like is the flexibility of having multiple USB-C ports along with USB-A support for older accessories. This makes it easy to charge a mix of newer and older devices without needing additional adapters. My only minor complaint is the price. It's more expensive than many charging stations on the market. However, considering the 200W output, six-port capacity, and overall build quality, I think the premium is justified for users who regularly charge multiple devices. Overall, this is an excellent charging station for anyone with a laptop, phone, tablet, and other USB-powered devices. It delivers reliable fast charging, reduces desk clutter, and has performed flawlessly in daily use. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful all-in-one desktop charger.

Powerful Charger That Cleans Up My Desk
This charging station has been a great way to replace several individual chargers and keep my desk much more organized. The multiple USB-C ports make it easy to charge my laptop, phone, watch, and other devices at the same time, and charging speeds have been excellent. It feels solid and premium, and having 200W available from one compact unit makes it especially useful for a multi-device setup.

Years of Daily Use and Still Going Strong
I’ve had this charging station for a few years now, and it has been incredibly reliable. I currently keep it in my home office and use it regularly to charge my laptop, phone, and other electronics, often with multiple devices plugged in at the same time. It charges everything quickly and has never let me down. Even after years of use, I’ve never had an issue with overheating or noticed it getting unusually hot, even when I’m charging several things. I especially like having all the ports in one place instead of needing a bunch of separate charging blocks and outlets. It keeps my desk cleaner and makes it easy to plug something in whenever I need it. It’s also compact considering how much charging capability you get, and the build quality has held up extremely well. I think it’s a great option for a home office, bedside table, or anywhere you regularly charge several devices. After a few years of using it, I’d absolutely recommend it. It’s fast, convenient, well-built, and most importantly, reliable.

Masterpiece of Engineering, but Dell Precision 3551 owners should be careful
The Anker Prime Charging Station (200W 6-Port GaN) is visually and technically impressive. The build quality is exceptional, and it’s arguably one of the most powerful and efficient desktop chargers I’ve ever used. It simultaneously handles my smartphone, tablet, and accessories without even breaking a sweat or getting hot. The "Power" Problem with Workstations: However, I bought this to simplify my desk setup and charge my Dell Precision 3551 workstation via USB-C. Despite the charger's massive 200W total capacity and the single port's ability to output 100W, my Dell laptop triggered a BIOS/System warning: "The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The system will adjust the performance to match the power available." Why this happened: It seems that professional-grade laptops like the Dell Precision 3551 require a proprietary handshake or a full 130W+ via the original barrel plug to run at full speed. While the Anker Prime is a beast, it couldn't satisfy the "power hunger" of this specific workstation, leading to throttled CPU performance and slow battery charging. Cons: May not be recognized as a "full-speed" charger by high-end Dell workstations that demand proprietary power levels. Verdict: If you have a MacBook, a standard ultrabook, or multiple gadgets, this is the best charger on the market. But if you have a powerhouse workstation like a Dell Precision, don't expect it to fully replace your bulky original power brick. It’s great for a "travel backup," but my Dell simply refused to work at 100% capacity with it.

Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Powers Switch 2 Dock even.
Used this to replace 4 different AC adapters for several USB devices and even including a Switch 2 dock. Right now this charge station powers: 1) Quest Pro charging dock 2) Quest Pro Oculus link cable for charging while in VR 3) 4K HDMI Capture Card 4) Switch 2 Dock 5) FBT Tracker charging dock And there's still room for one more USB A port if I ever need to use it. So far I can have ALL these devices on and running/charging and none lose power or interrupt power at any point. I can be playing Switch 2 and all other devices can charge freely with no interruption. The build feels great, pretty hefty and the actual wall plug is pretty small so it completely fills the role of freeing up and making the outlet behind my TV take up much less space. The outlet situation before this USB charge hub was a complete mess and this solves that completely.

Costs a little more, but it is worth it
A little pricey compared to others, but it is a powerhouse. I bought it to go on a cruise on an older ship that didn't have a lot of AC outlets. I wanted a USB A and C charger that had a lot of outlets and powerful USB-C PD outlets. You can tell by the weight of it that it is not messing around. It charges my older Samsung S22 Ultra and my families iPhones very quickly. I recently got a new work HP laptop with a USB C charging port and it charges it quickly also. I no longer have to worry where the wallwart for the laptop is. It is worth it to spend a little extra on this Anker 200W charging station.

Ready to prime up your life?
This is a lengthy read! Proceed with caution. Out of all of the chargers on Amazon, I had to go with Anker. The one true, tried, and hardy brand. Been a customer of theirs for over 8 years. From their USB C cables, small first Gen GaN adapters, and a surge protector, that doubles as a charging base! Now, after waiting such a long time. I can finally say that this purchase was worth it! The slim, solid looks of it. The easy to use plug-in-play with their power adapter that just plugs right on in the back of the prime. Plus, it's portability to carry it around everywhere you go or travel. The first 2 USB C ports to the far left charge at up to 100 watts each. After you plug in more than 2 devices, that wattage drops down to around 65 watts. Then followed by 45 watts on the remaining usb c ports. The 2 USB A ports charge at or up to 20 watts. Maiy those are reserved for lower draw devices, ie earpods, smartwatchea, headphones, etc. For the first 2 USB Cs, those are usually reserved for higher draw electronics. Laptops, tablets, and phones. While the rest of the USB C ports will mainly power other phones and smart charge enabled devices. To date, the Prime charger supports most protocols. Though, I'm not to keen on Huawei or Xaomi's charging protocols. All that is included in the box is the long power cord for the Prime, instruction Manuel, warranty information, and the Prime itself. Nothing to fancy or out of the ordinary. Now, you may have noticed that I only gave it 4/5 stars. Why the lower rating? Because of a certain persisting issue with Voltage switching. Which seems to become a habit on some high powered, charging adapters or bricks. Think of it this way, when you plug in a high draw device to your electrical outlet, when you have thousands of other things plugged in, what happens? Does the electrical current flowing from the power lines, transfer over to your breaker box, and onto its destination from there? Maybe an oversimplification of the problem. But, basically it boils down to the amount of stress your breaker box can hold. Too much stress casus the breaker to trip. Thus, you having to reset it everytime when you plug in a low or high draw device. As to what is tripping the internal circutry within the Prime adapter is a mystery to me. All I know is when I have to plug in a low draw device, ie a simple flip phone or even headphones. The Prime isn't going to start charging it right away. You have to take the charging cables out from their socket, then plug it back in. It'll start charging right away. I wrote several email to the Anker Support team about this issue. Hopefully, it'll get addressed in a new revision. As for now, I'm just going to keep a watchful eye when charging my equipment.

Amazing charger for anyone with tons of devices.
Loving this charging station so far! Anker products haven’t let me down yet and this one is no exception. It’s very well built and heavy, which I like because it suggests to me that it has good quality components and lots of heat dissipation ability. Even when maxed out and charging my MacBook Pro, and a myriad of other devices, it didn’t skip a beat and doesn’t get very hot. With this I can really charge everything I want and quickly. Only thing I wish it had was a display to show what realtime output is for each port, but to get that it would be larger and cost more. Of course they have that functionality in other models they sell. My work around is that I have a few cables that display the wattage they’re pushing, so I can get a good sense of what the charger is doing. It’s great to see how it ramps the power up slowly at the beginning or charging and then tapers it off once a battery is almost fully charged or is getting hot! That’s exactly what I want to see. I can’t recommend this highly enough if you’re someone like me who’s constantly charging things such as drones, cameras, laptops, power banks, action cameras, phones and tables, etc. There are lots of companies that sell similar charging stations that have more ports, promise higher wattage output, or a cheaper price, but honestly most of the time I don’t think they’re worth it as they seems to not last as long, present a possible fire hazard and also aren’t necessarily as smart and nice to your devices batteries. I rather go with a brand I trust and Anker is definitely one of those.

Quality charger, WITRN Validated
Heavy, solid build with a thick, high-quality power cord that feels premium right out of the box. Four USB-C ports (100W PD each) and two USB-A ports give you perfect support for everything. Plugged in my WITRN tester and it was flawless: full PD 20V 5A 100W + PPS 80W, every Quick Charge version (QC2-4), Apple 2.4A, Samsung AFC/DCP, Huawei FCP/SCP – almost every protocol detected perfectly. Real 20V 5A support that works with a MacBook, and with 200W total I can charge and power all my stuff from one brick. I’ve provided photos from my WITRN tester showing the output. This is the one charger that actually works with ALL my devices at max speed. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Excellent
So happy for the purchase. Got discount, great product, so handy and portable in size but so powerful, i can charge 2 laptop together without any power deficiency. Only improvement for future maybe, at least to add a small LED indicator for power On. On Off switch would be great too.

Anker Prime USB C Charger (200W) – Worth Every Cent!
When my old desktop charger stopped working, I spent a fair bit of time looking for a replacement. I came across the Anker Prime USB C Charger, 200W 6-Port GaN Charging Station, and while the price initially made me hesitate, I quickly realised it was worth every cent. Despite packing 200W of power, it’s incredibly compact, taking up very little space on my desk. Not only does it perform brilliantly, but it also has a premium look and feel, which I really appreciate. With six ports, there’s more than enough capacity to charge multiple devices at once, and I love that it doesn’t heat up, so I never have to worry about overheating issues. Plus, it supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 for my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is a huge bonus. On top of its excellent build quality and performance, the 2-year warranty is a nice extra touch. If someone is looking for a high-quality desktop charger that ticks all the boxes, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this one.
