Great trilogy - better than the TV show
I loved reading these, they keep you wanting more and I got through all the books very quick. These would be a great read before or after watching the new TV series.

I Can't Believe This is the End of the CRA Trilogy
I am a huge fan of the CRA trilogy, so you can imagine my excitement when Rich People Problems became available on my Kindle. I easily went through the book in 8 hrs and I just re-read the entire book to re-live the fun and excitement.Overall, I had a fun time reading RPP and for me this could have been my favorite book of the series if the following could be changed:* Kitty's storyline. She's one of my least favorite characters and I personally would have preferred less of a presence of her in this book, even though I can see why she was needed. Especially since her story does tie in with Oliver's, who happens to be one of my favorite characters.* More of an emphasis of Su Yi's background, and even from Sir. James Young. I love reading Su Yi's flashbacks, which made me look at her in a different light and she is now one of my favorite characters of the series. I know Kevin Kwan did say that RPP will be the last book in the trilogy but I hope he will consider writing a book that will go more in depth of the Shangs, Youngs and T'siens during the war and how the families became intertwined.Aside from that, I will definitely miss following the lives of Nick, Rachel, Astrid, Oliver, The Khoos and heck, even Eddie's crazy antics. The ending for me wasn't exactly what I expected but I was satisfied with it. Rich People Problems is definitely a great summer/vacation read that will leave you wanting more.

Rich People Problems
I have been a big fan of Kevin Kwan since his first book, Crazy Rich Asians, which was published in 2013. Needless to say, I was very excited about the opportunity to read the third installment of the series- Rich People Problems. As the story resumes, beloved matriarch Sun Yi falls ill, and her large extended family flies in from around the world, although it remains to be seen whether they arrive out of filial obligation or because they hope to inherit Tyersall Park, the family compound. Let’s be honest with each other: it’s mostly the latter.Tolstoy said that “each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way”, and this is certainly the case. Prepare yourself for over the top antics as everyone vies for a portion of the estate- never mind that Sun Yi has not actually passed away yet.Rich People Problems capitalizes on the key points that made the first two books successful: name-dropping of designer brands and mouth-watering descriptions of food. There are several different storylines happening simultaneously, but of course, they all center around the aforementioned soap opera antics.I would recommend Rich People Problems. I would suggest reading the first two books before tackling this one so that you have a full appreciation of the family dynamic and the numerous ensemble characters. This is a light book (with the exception of one plotline) and it was a fun read. The end of the book leaves the possibility for another entry in the series- perhaps in 2019?- one can only hope! Even if this is to be the end of the series, I am looking forward to the Crazy Rich Asians movie!

Tepid but entertaining
While Kwan has learned to balance description with character development, his main characters remain somewhat boring and two-dimensional. It’s hard to keep up with the litany of elites and social climbers. The motives and lack of reasoning from some characters is irritating. The female characters are woefully underwritten, especially Rachel. Even with these failings, the story is interesting and I found myself skipping less pages this time than with the second novel. I imagine that with each novel, Kwan will get better. Read it if you’re bored, but don’t expect any deep life lessons or literary feats. Fun and entertaining but ultimately shallow.

fun and engaging
An enjoyable, well rounded telling of the challenges of love and troubles with family. I appreciated the historical viewpoints. Characters captivated me- with the world’s ups and downs that caused the characters to dig deep to find the courage to do the right thing.

Excellent ending to this dramatic trilogy!
I have put off reading this series, but finally cracked them open. I’m so glad I did. The drama, the glitz and glam, and most importantly the love and happy ending! It could easily be 5 stars, but as an avid reader I only award 5s when I read a book for a second time, and fall in love with it all over again. But I’d say this is like 4.6 stars, high praise from this avid reader!

Presente
Comprei como um presente para minha mãe depois que ela se apaixonou pelo filme. O livro tem um tamanho bom, a qualidade é excelente e não é um livro pesado. Para os amantes de Comédias Românticas é uma trilogia a se pensar em ler.

Constant surprises!
This is my favourite book in the trilogy. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. There are so many delicious and hilarious moments and a few that raise a tear. Kevin Kwan conjures so many fascinating new characters and we have the ones we've come to know and love (or despise) from the previous books. Kwan juggles their interweaving dramas so skillfully . There are many surprises around each corner and I kept having to carry on reading to find out what was going to happen next. Every human emotion is explored - jealousy, love, loyalty, bravery and tenaciousness along with human frailties which are mercilessly lampooned at times. It's a delightful and satisfying end to the series and I'll truly miss the people that I now feel I know so well.

dramatic, entertaining and extravagant rich fiction with amazing details on East Asian culture
This was interesting and dramatic fiction that revolved around whole new level of craziness when Rachel set her feet in China to meet her father and his family. The story was about Rich people and their lifestyle, snobbery, family drama, power play, money personalities and behavioral change, East Asian culture, friendship, and love.Like first book this was more character driven and once again secondary characters shadowed Nick and Rachel. We get to read more about Astrid and Michael. Colette surprisingly got lot of focus in story. She was Rachel’s brother, Carlton’s China Rich Girlfriend. Kitty’s character and her part of story was entertaining but I still don’t get her importance here.Rachel’s new family’s dynamic and their issues with each other and with Rachel entering their life was well written.I enjoyed reading Nick and Rachel and their dramatic adventure in China.Best part of the book was reading about new places of China and Hong Kong, all amazing details on culture, food, dresses, crazy rich extravagant lifestyle, social cues, and footnotes. Why 4 stars-Like I said I don’t get the importance of Kitty’s character in this. There was too much focus on Kitty and Colette than main characters and their issues. Also Charlie’s wife’s story felt unbelievable.Overall, China Rich Girlfriend was interesting, dramatic, entertaining and extravagant rich fiction with amazing details on East Asian culture and lifestyle.I recommend this if you like,First book in seriesinteresting charactersCharacter driven plotso much details on culture and lifestyledramagossip magazines and blogswell written family dynamicsome insightful and some epic moments
