Easy to use but for the size of them it take a long time for the charge to occur. Wish the storage bag was padded for safety.

I purchased these solar panels to charge the lead acid battery on my Scamp trailer as well as a Goal Zero Yeti 700 Watt power station. They work well, even on cloudy days. On sunny days I get in the 180s in watts coming in and on cloudy days it can be low, 10-20 watts, but it trickles in and keeps my batteries topped off. For the Scamp battery, I also purchased a Victron MMPT 100/20 charge controller that is hooked up between the panels and the battery to modulate the energy coming in from the panels. For the Yeti, it has a built in charge controller so the panels can connect directly to the Yeti, with their cable. I also purchased extention cables so that I can move the panels around camp to follow the sun. They have worked well for my situation. Recommend.

Real world experience: I got 184w straight out of the gate, setting this up in the afternoon on a summer day in Seattle. After the panels warmed up in the sun, that dropped to between 170-175w for the next two hours while charging my Ecoflow Delta Mini. Had the same experience deployed while camping. About other reviews stating it performed poorly: Solar panels typically don't hit their stated maximum wattage outside of a lab. This is because 1) Panels need to be properly aligned to the sun, and 2) Efficiency of all solar panels decreases as they heat up. You're not going to see peak power output on hot days. *Also depends on the charge controller and battery setup it's connected to. Why this panel? I upgraded from a 100w Jackery, as it barely output enough to compensate for the draw from my fridge (~70w). I wanted to generate significantly more power without sacrificing much more room in the back of my car when camping. This suitcase fit the bill, as the form factor is only slightly larger and I'm getting >240% more power out of it. The 350w and 400w panels are all way too big for car camping. Why not the 200w Renogy folding panel (ASIN B0CNPHD4VY)? I opted to spend the extra ~$100 even though the output is nearly identical, because I wanted the warranty and durability that the rigid panels provide. There's no fabric on these to fray or breakdown, it's all metal and plastic, so I'm much more comfortable tossing it on gravel, dirt, grass, etc. *The leads from the panel are only about two feet long, so you'll need to source your own extension cables for your specific needs. I don't consider this a complaint as it's industry standard.

This is our third Renogy solar panel. The original 200w glass panel still works well, but it's ~40 pounds. The second one is a 100w lightweight panel which I like a lot, but sometimes I want more power. So, I ordered this 220w panel. (Sure, I could have ordered another 100w and ganged them up.) This 220w panel is less than 20 pounds, and folds in fourths so it's not too large in storage. I hooked it up to our camper and put it out in hazy North Carolina summer sun, and got ~170 watts immediately, which went down to ~150w as the panel warmed up. I'm happy with that given the conditions. I do appreciate the higher level waterproof rating so I can just put it out and not worry about it. A couple of things that I didn't much like: the case/cover that came with it is junk, it's just a thin zippered cover made from coated nylon, no padding or protection at all. This may be important since there are open wires connecting the panels that are exposed when it's folded. The other issue is that the wires coming out of the panel are super thin, not heavy gauge at all, so I suspect that may limit power output versus an 8 or 10ga wire. My other panels have heavier gauge wire. Overall I'm happy with it, and it'll get a lot of use while boondocking in our camper.

Love these panels!! Durable good quality and works great for my application. I have owned these for about a year now. They are great for camping trips, charging my Jackery and Bluetti. They are compact and easy to set up. My only complaint is the lead is short. Will purchase another set to have double the input.
