Great mixers
I own three of these mixers to use with the Bose L1 Model 2 sound systems for weekly gigs. The Tone Match technology saves valuable setup time with built-in, accurate EQ modeling for mics and instruments. I’m not privy to the quality of the pre-amps, but to my ears, they handle any analog signal I throw at them with clarity. The trim and channel volume control knobs feel great to the touch for easy, fast signal/volume control. You won’t miss fader slide control. Flexible routing options allow for daisy chaining two mixers together for more channels when needed and coupled with a speaker array tower, bass cabinet and monitors, you will achieve pristine sound without the addition of a front sound person inside or outside. Auxiliary inputs and outputs add to the flexibility of your audio needs. Digital reverbs and delay sound great. Those musicians and soundpersons used to DAW effects may not like adjustments based on percentages, but it’s not hard to find the sound you want by dialing in the effects attributes using trial and error, as opposed to some studio formula, which may not sound good in a live club or outdoor setting. The headphone output feature is appreciated for solo listening. With the built in camera mount on the underside, you can mount these mixers on camera tripods for adjustable height and tilt for ease of stage operation. The magnetic mixer face cover and optional case offer supreme road-worthy protection. For the gigging or studio musician that wants a good sounding, durable and easy to operate audio mixer, this one is a workhorse. Paired with a Bose live performance system, you can expect nothing but great sound.

Solid piece of gear for the price. Compact, easy to learn.
For the size, it's nice. Easy to use. Turn it on or off with your speakers off, it makes a loud boom on startup/shutdown. Sounds very clean and acoustic. I think cleaner than any cheap non powered board I've used but it is pricy, but you do get 8 solid channels for mic/line inputs. I love the lightness and compactness and being able to mount it on a mic stand you can see and reach while you're playing if you need to mute or hit a volume.

Produces studio grade live sound quality!!!
Though most new Bose professional power speakers include ToneMatch technology — the T8S and T4S includes exclusive ToneMatch features that produces even more sharp sound quality — other EQ, Delays, Channels, etc... It produces studio grade live sounds quality, particularly on voice processing. This is a must have for the demanding musicians. Highly recommended.

Great for our old time string band.
I use condensers a lot and this product so far has given me a much better tool to combat feedback. We use it sometimes in a good setting with our full band being picked up be just one mic with good EQ. The tone is an improvement as well. So far so good after 5 shows. We use it for upright bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and vocals.

I wish I could give a better review...
Got this in March of 2021. It worked well for about 6 months. Then it started weirding out. I sent it back to BOSE, but they sent it back to me telling me they couldn't reproduce the problem. I'm not sure what to do now, but I can't use it and I can't return it. BE WARNED!

The “does everything” 8 channel mix
This mixer does it all! Pre-programmed mics, instruments, drums, so dial to the equipment you’re using in each channel and it’s already eq’d for maximum effect. Adjustable reverb, compressors, gates, etc. Pares up perfectly with the Bose L Series PA systems (I use the L16). Amazing sound quality, punch, and flexibility for an unbelievably low price compared to many other systems.
