Deceptive
I ordered what I thought was a Diamond Deb, made in USA. I received Diamon Deb, a knock off from China. Please note this missing "d". The header says diamond...very misleading.Quality lacking, much thicker and not as flexible as one I was replacing.

Diamond Deb REJECTS MADE IN CHINA
I like many, have had my 8" Diamond Deb nail files for at least 30 years. They are made in the USA. I have two 6" ones as well.I ordered some from this site and am very upset.I would like a refund for the new ones I ordered ... They are made cheaply in China . THE METAL PIECES HAVE COME OFF WHILE I AM FILING AND CUT INTO AND STUCK IN THE SIDES OF MY NAIL BEDS.. DANGEROUS LIKE LITTLE RAZOR BLADES AND VERY PAINFUL and it has happened with two I have used. Very poor craftsmanship. Had I not been capable with magnifying glass and fine tweezers, I would have had to go to the hospital emergency room to get them out!!!! I am extremely upset and disappointed. Had I used them on my poor 97 yo mother in the nursing home it would have been devastating. I have natural nails, not artificial!!!PLEASE ADVISE!!!!!

Quick, easy, smooth and gentle file, great for brittle nails.
My mother always had one of these Diamon Deb files around. I've been using them for years, but I had tried several other types of nail files for my horribly thin, brittle, ridged nails, to see if another file type would prevent the peeling and chipping that I'm so used to. I tried glass files, emery boards, buffing blocks, etc., and it does seem that the file type you use can contribute to weakness and breaks. I'm done experimenting, because the file that is the gentlest on my nails is this one. Diamon Deb gives me the smoothest finish in the shortest amount of time, and I find that my edges keep longer with fewer breaks than with other types of files. I'm no expert, but this one works best for me.

Bad advertisement.
this is sold as an 8" file while the file itself is less than 6". i needed an extra long file and they claim this is extra long. It's not and they should't call it an 8" file. We don't need the size of the handle and tail included to claim it as a long file. Bad advertisement.

Does not give a smooth finish
I guess I am spoiled by using Nail Tek's crystal files. I needed another file so tried out the Diamond Deb since I've heard of it for years. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with the results. It does do a quick job of filing down long nails, however it leaves a rough finish on the nail edge. I've gone back over the nail lightly, but getting the smooth finish I had with crystal files is difficult. I'm not sure why this file is so long, but at 8", it is more file than is needed. The price is nice and it shipped quickly, however I'll stick with crystal files.

Meh!
These files were terrible. They are metal but don’t try using them on a weekly basis bc all the grit doesn’t withstand the use. I’m only one person, using this as my own personal file and I couldn’t wait to throw them out!

Fabulous nail file
I had one of these nail files that I bought many years ago. It continued to function beautifully, but I somehow lost it. I was so glad to be able to purchase another one here at Amazon. The file seems to be just a bit thicker and a bit more stiff than my old one, but it has the same filing surface that I know and love. The surface allows me to file my nails quickly and keeps the filed edges smooth. My only tiny tiny complaint is that the blue-and-clear plastic case that came with it is quite brittle and broke as I was taking it out of the packaging. That is a small thing and certainly doesn't affect the function of the file itself. It's just a bit annoying that this new case failed immediately and my decades-old case was still soft and pliable. Still, I think the file itself deserves five stars. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Why Would Anyone Buy An Emery Board?
I had purchased one of these files decades ago, maybe about 40. That file finally needed replacing due to metal fatigue; the bending, when filing, resulted in it breaking. I had searched for a replacement a year or two ago and did not find this one. Tried again the other day and "Yeah!" it is being sold.I like the light coarseness of the file. It works great. I expect this one will last forever.

Top quality file
One side slightly more abrasive than the other. An excellent nail file which will last a long time. It's not harsh either like some.

diamon value
good product, lasts years unlike emery boards that bend and crack.

Well worth the price
I bought a Diamond Deb file copy, it was rubbish. So glad I got the real thing. Feels right, works well. Just what I wanted.
