Good, but...
If you use Meraki for your WAPs, *take note*. After a 45 day trial run of one device, I bought five more (via CDW) of this Executive model to service all conference rooms in my office. I noticed minimal drops when trialing, but when we added the rest over three floors, our Merakis (one WAP per floor at the time) wasn't enough and we had nearly continuous signal drops. JOAN support is very responsive and attempt to be helpful, but even after upgrading our Merakis a model up and increasing to 2-3 per floor, our devices still drop signal way too much... and all their support can tell me is it's Meraki's fault due to "band steering" and to turn it off.Tell me, what office in a wifi dominant environment wouldn't use band steering? It's critical to have such a feature when you have people roaming about the office, room to room, on their laptops and mobile devices... so, no, I won't turn off band steering like JOAN suggested. They need to do better and upgrade their technology to accommodate real world scenarios. These limitations are not listed anywhere that a potential customer could read about beforehand - I had to learn about this only after purchasing six devices.The dropping of wifi also leads to battery drainage way beyond the life they tout (3 months). I'm charging my devices about once a month.Three stars because when it works, my staff love it. I implemented Joan as a way to lower ghost meetings, and my staff can't even check into a meeting 25% of the time due to wifi issues.They lose two stars because of all of that.
