How long do you have to season this? I used water to grind and it never stops creating a grey slurry.

I’m not sure it will ever stop creating granite dust. I returned mine and got a different one because of that issue.

Do I have to season it before first use?

No, rinse it with warm/hot water. It's stone so definitely no soap - that will affect the flavour of the spices you grind in it. If you want to reduce cross contamination of flavours from strong spices you've ground, I "neutralize" it by grinding some dry rice into a powder.

Is this made from a solid piece of Granite or is it cemented granite particles?

It’s granite. Really heavy but really nice. Use rice water to grind it down. Works like a charm!!
