Can it be used over water

The times I've used it over water it hasn't worked well due to the rounds getting wet and affecting the launcher...worked flawlessly on land though.

What is the average distance that the dummy will travel after launch? Range? Different color loads?

The distance is relative to the angle of the launcher. I started with the green loads (40 - 55 yards) to get a feel for the distance traveled and the recoil (hardly noticeable). The yellow fires the dummy 50-60 yards and the red , at the right angle , could fire it on excess of 75 yards.

Can you use the 22 blanks you buy from home Depot?

yes you can, i use them all the time and they work just fine....

Can you use ot with a remote?

This launcher is only used manually and does not come with a remote. It is very easy to launch by opening the lever, inserting a blank, closing the devise with a seated dummy and launching by pulling back the handle and releasing it. Very easy to use and throws a dummy with a red loaded blank about 100 yards.
