Awesome
There’s nothing bad to say about this ice mold. Easy to use just a little hot water for a few seconds and the ice molds come right out. Super please with the quality of the tray and the ice fits perfectly. Wish I knew about these sooner. Must have !

Works, but honestly, why needed?
I'll give an honest assessment here — yes, this product makes 3 ice cubes, but why are these cubes special over any others? The #3 size cube might not even fit into anything other than a 40 oz tumbler. I thought this was a novel idea but once I made the ice I realized it wasn't anything overly special.I made the three cubes, it was easy and they came out of the mold relatively easily. But I thought, "I'll have to do this a number of times and keep these giant cubes in a ziplock bag so I have them for my tumbler." Again, why? The only benefit I see the listing making is that ice "doesn't make clinking noises." Maybe for a quiet college class that might be important.I have a YETI 20 oz Rambler tumbler. (No, Amazon, I'm not cross promoting, just saying which tumbler I have so people know how these cubes fit.) The #1 and #2 cubes fit perfectly into the 20 oz tumbler just fine, and I think most tumblers have sort of the same design. (20 oz Stanleys look kind of like the YETI.) After putting the two cubes in, I measured iced coffee and was able to get exactly 12 oz in. So the two cubes took up 8 oz of space. I set the tumbler on the counter and 26 hrs later there was still a little ice left. Hard to say if it was the ice experience or the tumbler, but my iced coffee was still perfect and who cares if it's a little watered down. Maybe if you take a 40 oz tumbler to work every day you don't mind sacrificing 14 oz of ice volume and you'll make fresh cubes every day for yourself. That could work.So yes, ice works, and quality tumblers can keep things cold for a long time. Yet I think my ice maker makes ice just as well, and regular ice cube trays make ice that's easier to store in bags in the freezer. I'm just not sure that these cubes are anything special over regular sized ice. And if you're headed out on a road trip, you've gotta make sets of cubes for you and companions, then you really just get one shot and you're all back to regular ice that you'll buy on the road, so again, I don't see the advantage here and I don't have time to spend making just 3 cubes at a time. Maybe the smallest cube would look cool in a whiskey glass, but then you're making the #1 sized cube over and over one at a time and storing them.

The tray is easy to use perfect for my freezer.
This is easy to use, easy to free the ice. Like that it stacks easy. The ice fits nicely in my Stanley cup. I have several sets of these molds and use them for all my drinking mugs. Really like these ice rings in my cold drinks.

Solves a Problem You Didn't Know You Had
My wife is all about her tumblers (not Stanley thank goodness), but she has a few that she uses daily. When filling it in the morning she would use almost two complete trays of ice. This solves the problem of us not having ice in the freezer. She likes it because of the plastic case and lid - which means there's no floppy silicone, risking a water spill on the way to the freezer. She also says that it's super easy to get the ice out of the molds, which is a wonderful thing. If you or a member of your family is a part of the tumbler craze then I would recommend getting one of these, because it will make sure that you have enough ice to share.

As pictured and described; releases ice easily
The media could not be loaded. I found this to be just as described and pictured. I took off one star though because the lid doesn’t latch onto the bottom compartment tightly. I will also point out, as another reviewer did, that regular ice fits just fine in a Stanley so this isn’t really a “need.” However, it’s nice if you want to freeze juice or coffee so what you put in your Stanley doesn’t get watered down with ice.I found this to be really easy to use… the silicone molds fits well inside the container and the lid protects the water/ice from other stuff in the freezer. The mold was easy to fill and released the ice easily as well. I did overfill the mold a bit but the extra water just went down in the container and froze there so it came off easily and also didn’t make a mess in my freezer. If this is something you want, it’s a great choice!
