Exceptional Gaming Monitor - Truly a Game-Changer!
I recently upgraded to the MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The vibrant 27-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 is absolutely stunning. Colors are incredibly rich and lifelike, and the True Black HDR 400 makes dark scenes pop with depth and clarity. The 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time deliver an ultra-smooth and responsive experience, which has been a game-changer for competitive gaming. Even fast-paced action scenes are buttery smooth, with zero noticeable ghosting or lag. The build quality of the monitor is top-notch. I appreciate the tilt and height adjustability, which allowed me to set up the perfect viewing angle for long gaming sessions. Connectivity options like HDMI and DP Port are robust and made setup a breeze. Overall, this monitor is worth every penny. Whether you're a competitive gamer or just want an incredible display for everyday use, the MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED delivers in every way. Highly recommended!

Great monitor at a great price!
I purchased the monitor during Black Friday for a great price! I chose this monitor because I appreciate the quality build of the MSI brand. I previously owned the MSI Optix G27C5, a 1080p / 165 Hz monitor. I recently upgraded my PC build so I wanted a monitor to match its power. I was not disappointed with the MSI 271 QPX OLED. This monitor looks like a mirror when it is off because of its glossiness. Compared to my previous monitor, the icon / text sizes were different because of the enhanced resolution. However, I resolved it by adjusting the scaling in the Windows “display” settings. The Pros: HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 240 Hz is visually smooth as expected Colors are great Text is clear and sharp OLED Care features to prevent burn-in 3-year burn-in warranty The Cons: Not a curved screen The stand is a bit bulky and can take up some desk space (VESA arm/mount can resolve this) Overall a great purchase with the quality, display resolution, and functions as expected. I would recommend this monitor.

5 Star product but here's the caveat...
TL;DR At the bottom I thought this monitor was broken when I first got it. The colors were washed out. Then I updated the color profile and it looked better. Okay, monitor looks nice but nothing special I thought. Then I tried running HDR just because I was curious what it looked like. THEN monitor kept going black screen... I could barely get it working again. I thought FOR SURE the monitor was broken and already started the return. After troubleshooting the monitor I got it working again but HDR would cause the issue again, I thought what ever. Maybe I'll just keep it, I don't really care about HDR anyway. That's when I found some piece of information mentioning bandwidth and Fiber Optics that made me order a new HDMI cable... I already tried two different cables but I thought, let me just try ordering a new cable that for sure supports HDMI 2.1. Sure enough... The new cable solved all my problems. Because this new cable had so much bandwidth I was not only able to now run HDR but I also updated the color depth to 10-Bit and it's running flawlessly and looks so much better. Turns out the cable MSI provides with the monitor is not a quality cable and they might as well not even put one in the box, it's just a waste of time and probably causing a lot of unnecessary returns. TL;DR: The cable MSI provides with the monitor is bad quality. You need to order a new HDMI cable with a higher bandwidth or else the monitor will malfunction.

Easily The Best Monitor I’ve Owned.
I’ve wanted a new monitor for a while to take advantage of my gaming pc, and this MSI monitor delivers every aspect I desire. This MSI monitor is bright, vibrant, and has fantastic contrast. The glossy coating helps make images pop, unlike other OLED monitors I saw from Samsung and LG. I was worried I would miss the 4k resolution of my old IPS monitor, but I didn’t. The MAG 271QPX E2 blows my old IPS monitor out of the water, and it’s not even close. Response times are instant, and I immediately noticed that going from 60hz to 240hz was a massive leap in smoothness. Navigation through the menu was simple, and settings were easy to configure. This MSI monitor's ergonomics, design, and build quality are top-notch. Many people complained about text fringing, and while it exists, it is not as big of a deal as many people make it out to be; it’s still very sharp with its 1440p resolution. Another overblown complaint is the purple hue of QD-OLED, and unless you have very, VERY harsh lighting in your room, it’s essentially a non-issue when the monitor is on. In addition, I use this monitor with my Nintendo Switch, which makes playing games brand new again with this QD-OLED Panel. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking into an OLED monitor at a fair price; MSI is the way to go with its 3-year burn-in warranty.

Huge upgrade over IPS
I was initially skeptical regarding OLED's improvement over IPS, but this monitor has largely mitigated my skepticism. While games may have inconsistent HDR implementations, or have art styles that don't fully take advantage of OLED, I think the overall uplift in image quality is worth it compared to something like an IPS panel. Contrast and color vibrancy is much better on this monitor than my old 1080p 240hz dell monitor. I'll list the pros and cons from my early impressions. As of now I am quite content and plan to keep it. Pros: - Contrast - Color Vibrancy - response time - resolution (over 1080p) - decent features with monitors OSD - comes with DP and HDMI cables - Text is clear and I don't notice fringing that others describe seeing, except maybe in excel in the ribbon - 3yr warranty + additional 3 months for registering product. covers burn in - 240hz is more than adequate considering my PC's current modest hardware (3060ti and 5600x), and I don't play any comp games besides rocket league and occasionally battlefield. Mostly a co-op / singleplayer gamer. Cinematic singleplayer games look incredible Cons: - VRR flicker does exist during large frame fluctuations, but I've only seen it in game menus that are predominantly dark. During any actual gameplay, I am yet to see it. As long as I don't see it in actual gameplay, I think this is a non-issue - sometimes OSD settings reset and I am unsure why - can't get firmware to update using displayport. get error: "compare bin and flash model name fail fail, error code: 0x45" and I cannot find anything online that describes how to fix this. for the time being I don't really care - I was just trying to update my firmware to the most recent version, not bc I wanted a specific feature. My FW version is.019 and current is .022. - still expensive for a 1440p monitor, but much better than others that have released this year or in previous years. - Wish there was USB hub but given its price, its not that important Overall quite satisfied thus far but not perfect, hence why I am not giving it a 5. I would more realistically give it a 4.5 since there are definitely some cons (though relatively minimal) but is great otherwise. Should the cons listed above be addressed (like VRR flicker, OSD settings resetting, or updating FW) I would say its a solid 5.

Great monitor for a great price
The color accuracy is great and brightness level well above what is the minimum that I require. The refresh rate (240hz) is quite the bonus along with the response rate (0.03), but the true star is the contrast levels and the color's brightness. The software and navigation is quite comfortable and intuitive and MSI has enabled the use of updates for this model which helps further with color accuracy and other quality of life improvement. And talking about quality of life I suggest using MSI QOLED Care as much as possible to avoid burn-in and it takes just a couple of minutes every 4 hours which is reasonable. It is a great monitor and a really good upgrade from a VA panel, not as bright as the Mini Led but bright enough for 80 to 90% of the people and HDR is impressive thanks to the blacks and 0 bleeding, but it is not going to blind you for ever as miniled (I do enjoy the light blasts but compromises are necessary). If you can get it at a discount it probably one of the if not the best option out there for the price point.

A Safer, better OLED Worth Considering for both Gamers and Professionals: MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2
A very good-valued oled monitor that offers extraordinary features among all the oled monitor options out there with some things people should know before buying. This is a fantastic oled panel that basically have all the benefits of an oled display that you could ask for and even few more useful features for itself. First of all, this specific model is mainly distributed online and it is a 2024 model(thats what the E2 in the name means) and while some people like me who like to do research may find this specific monitor have a previous model that shares an identical name but without “E2”, and see the difference on the refresh rate. On the older one it is 360hz instead of 240hz on this E2 model. Hold on, I know but wait, don’t run to that product page yet, let me finish. This new E2 model offers something that most previous(models earlier than 2023) oled panels don’t have. Which is MSI their own qd-oled protections. As most people know, one of oled’s most lethal drawback is the burn-in issue. Secondly the color accuracy, and text clarity. But on the 271qpx qd-oled e2, these issues are carefully solved and decently improved on. I would even say this is their attempt to make an oled panel that is actually good for professional productivity users, since it has an absolutely amazing level of color range and accuracy, here is the specs(i pulled from their website, and i have also received a test certificate to prove for it) sRGB: ~138.4 % • DCI-P3: ~99.1 % • Adobe RGB: ~98 % • Certified DisplayHDR True Black 400 • Delta E ≤ 2 (factory calibration) for color accuracy claim For anyone who doesn’t know, this is already a fantastic level for professional to make industrial level content. For comparison, Typical high-end IPS monitor: sRGB 99%, DCI-P3 90–95%, Adobe RGB 85–90%, HDR 400. So it’s very impressive on this aspect. As for few of it’s things that maybe you should be cautious about, one, it has a noise-making coli for it’s internal power(that’s my way to put it since I am not an electrician) if you put your ear closely you would hear the constant sizzing sound. But personally I wouldn’t really care nor notice it that much since it’s quite subtle and only audible if you are literally putting your ears onto the back of it which I don’t think normal users would. Plus when gaming most people will put on a headphone which makes it impossible to hear it. Secondly, I would say more importantly, is most MSI monitor lack of G-sync. Including this one, and instead it only has FreeSync. I will not go to deep on explaining what it is, people who know, they know, if don’t, it’s a quick google question. The simplest but a bit sharp way I would put it is this is not a monitor for users with lower end setups(older, weaker GPU and CPU) that cannot confidently provide constant high FPS and performance, since its VRR is only supported from 48-240hz, any case if your FPS drops below 48 for any reason, you will experience white flickering and tearing, which it’s not something anyone will like. However, for users like myself that use a 5070ti and a Macbook Pro M3 chip, I’ve never experienced such issues. That is to ensure turn OFF the FreeSync if you have a good setup, turning it on when you don’t need it can cause the problem. And lastly, this product comes with a short power cable that is only 1m long, consider it when you are setting up your space. I’ve convered basically all I have experienced with this monitor, this is a fantastic OLED monitor that tile more for professional with a reasonable budget in mind. It is a valuable for an oled with latest tech to actually extend its own lifespan and offers the premium look and user experience that no other type of panels could. Also, no need to mention but I will still bring it up, it’s also an implacable choice for gamers too, just like any oled panels out there but with potential longer lifespan and ability to handle professional imaging work as well.

So beautiful colors
It is great to have an OLED monitor which grab you to OLED monitors world with no back to other panels like IPS,VA, etc.. Everything about this monitor is perfectly fine. The colors are amazing the HDR and the clarity. I just liked it. Also, MSI offers you a 3 years burn warranty so you will be fine. The weird thing that I ordered model MSI 271qpx e2 with 240hz. But I received the 271qpx version without the e2 which have a refresh rate of 360hz but I am fine with it because it is actually an upgrade not a downgrade 😁

Beautiful, performant.
Wow, what an awesome product! First, i received the package two days earlier than the guaranteed amazon date, which is exceptionnal. Second, everything was intact, and assembly was really easy. Out of the box, everything was great, and i managed to upgrade the firmware very easily with the online drivers, on the manufacturer's website. I run the monitor at 2560x1440 via DP at 240hz. The quality of the board is amazing, everything is fluid, the blacks are very dark (I previously had an IPS monitor). Having HDR as a possibility is incredible as the range of colors is vivid. I got the board at around 300$ discount just after christmas and regret absolutely nothing !!!
