The pads are greats but when I went to put them on my grinder they pushed too far onto the spindle and slipped/didn't turn when it was turned on.The solution is to get a flange to go on your spindle to grip the pad from the inside (as well from the outside with one you already have), so the pads are secured from both sides.Buy these flanges now, save yourself some aggravation later.

Great for polishing brass and steel knives.

I hate polishing, but this makes it easier and works great if used properly

This is a comprehensive set of polishing wheels and compound for a bench grinder. The kit includes a double set of the most used wheels. The wheels are well made to last long. Purchasing a complete set like this is more cost effective than buying the individual pieces separately. I found the main polishing wheel does a good job when buffing up some decorative pewter houseware. When I did this by hand previously, it left swirls and spider web scratches in the soft metal. The polishing wheel works a lot better and does not mark the surface.

The polishing wheels are very good quality and should give good life. And the kit includes 2x of the most commonly used middle weight cotton wheels.
