First, just the packaging: We all know that supplements bottled in real glass, in general, tend to be higher quality. It's also better health- wise because you don't run any risk of plastic leaching into the product. This is bottled in amber glass, which is best for preserving contents inside. The bottle also came safety sealed with plastic around the neck. But what really blew my mind was the safety pouch the bottle came in! I have received a lot of supplements in the mail and never have I seen anything quite like this, it certainly puts bubble wrap to shame! I don't know if the picture I took really does it justice, but it's like dozens of little conjoined pillow like tubes filled with air -- very solid and pillowy -- it absolutely ensures that what's contained within will never break in transit. It's like a little spaceship for transporting delicate glass bottles. Now, the product itself. I did a little reading on the website, and I was impressed by what I read about the MD Prescriptives company. It's 3rd party tested, something I consider quite important, and manufactured in the US (not China), in a GMP facility. This is a probiotic blend with 15 strains, which is a nice variety containing most of The Usual Suspects and a few strains that I had not heard of before. That in itself is great because, as I only learned in the last year, it's good to switch up your probiotics occasionally so that you colonize your gut with a greater variety. The other thing I like is more of a personal preference: these are to be taken with food. That works better for me, as many probiotics are supposed to be taken on an empty stomach, and trying to remember to take something else between meals is just one more thing to remember in a life already filled with multitudinous to-do's; the end result being that it often doesn't get done. This way is much easier because I can just take it with my other supplements after meals. All in all, I find many things to recommend this product, and not a single thing that doesn't!

I've been reading about the benefits of probiotics for a while now, and decided to give PureBiotic a try. I'm always looking for ways to support my gut health, and this product seemed promising with its high count of active cultures. Note: One thing that surprised me was that it arrived in a non-refrigerated package. I'm assuming this means the product is shelf-stable, which is great for convenience. I'm hoping it maintains its potency without needing refrigeration. I'm only a few days into taking it, so it's too early to tell if I'm experiencing any noticeable changes. However, I'm optimistic based on the ingredients and the positive things I've read about probiotics. I'll be sure to update this review after I've had a chance to try it for a longer period. I'm interested to see if it helps with my overall digestive health and if it provides any immune support. I'll try to keep you posted with an update soon.

Not the best. Doesn't seem to work as a cleanse which I thought it was. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe it was just to give good bacteria for the stomach, after 3 weeks I felt no different. Maybe works for others, just not for me.

This bottle of, “PureBiotic” probiotic supplement capsules from MD Prescriptives arrived to me as shown on it’s listing here. The bottle’s label contains a lot of information such as information about the company, that each 2 capsule serving contains 28 Billion CFU from 150 different strains of Probiotics, etc. The bottle contains 60 capsules. Suggested serving is 2 capsules per day, one in the AM and one in the PM, so 30 servings per bottle. I didn’t notice any storage recommendation on the bottle or it’s listing here, but I assume it’s like other probiotics, and that is to store them in a cool, dry place, but best if refrigerated. Each 2 capsules serving contains: 28 Billion CFU – SSS Probiotic Blend (15 Strain) - Lactobacillus acidophilus - Lactobacillus bulgaricus - Bifidobacterium bifidum - Bifidobacterium longum - Bifidobacterium breve - Bifidobacterium animalis lactis - Bifidobacterium animalis lactis HN019 - Lactobacillus brevis - Lactobacillus rhamnosus - Lactobacillus casei - Lactobacillus helveticus - Lactobacillus plantarum - Lactobacillus thermophilus - Lactobacillus salivarius - Lactocaccus lactis Other ingredients: - Vegetarian capsule - Low Moisture Rice Maltodextrin The capsules are of a typical size, are easy for me to swallow. I’ve been taking these probiotics early after waking, with my morning shake/smoothie thing, and I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. I take a 2nd capsule later in the evening. I also take everyday a Saccharomyces Boulardii product, it’s a yeast that survives stomach acid well, which has helped me a lot over the years, though it is more of a preventative, “Prebiotic/Probiotic”. I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary or any interaction, so I have no complaints. The bottle’s label mentions that these capsules are Made in USA and 3rd party tested.

Was excited to see all the strains listed. Although we prefer not to use products that have starches as fillers, we were willing to try this one. Very disappointed to see received bottle list ingredients different from webpage. Malodextrin is on physical bottle, whereas webpage shows Potato Starch. We do not ingest Malodextrin at all, it's right up there with High Fructose Corn Syrup, research for yourself. If Malodextrin was shown on webpage we would have never ordered it. Maybe this will work for other but we will not ingest.
