So firstly, I have very thick hair and it never wants to cooperate with me. It will rarely hold curls I do with a hot iron, even with a lot of product in it. So I've been looking for another way to curl my hair and I found it! These soft hair curlers worked! I wore them overnight and they were very comfortable and didn't bother me at all. I put them on after a shower and once my hair was mostly dry, but still damp. And in the morning, I took out the curlers and ta-da! Curls that stayed!! I am very happy with these curlers. Not only did they work, they're comfy and cute! They also came with a cute pink bag to store them in. I would definitely recommend, especially since it's not damaging your hair like hot irons do!

These were super easy to use and left my daughters hair with a cute curl. I learned that when applying them, they stayed much better in place if you rolled under and not over. My daughter has very fine hair and when rolling them upwards they kept coming out. When I finally switched to rolling under I didn't have any problems and they tied very easy and stayed in place much better. I only left them in for a couple of hours and when I took them out she had a very cute wave to her hair.

So this is essentially a short (1-2 inch) piece of foam and the ends are wires that you can twist. The foam is super squishy and not firm at all, which means it doesn't really allow you to control the width of the curl. Also, the shortness of the piece of foam made it really hard to curl my hair because it couldn't hold all of my hair. My hair kept sliding off the side and off the short piece of foam. So that forced me to use less hair per roller. Which means tighter curls, which is not what I wanted. I wanted loose curls.Smell: All of the reviews are right, there is a really bad smell. I used a moose in my hair that smelled really good so that kind of counteracted it but still, really bad smell.Next, I'll be trying the Flexi Rods (or some variation of them that I can find on Amazon for the cheapest price) because those are LONG pieces of foam that can hold more hair. And you can choose the width so that will allow you to better control the size of curls you want.You also get 20 of these tiny hair rollers in this pack for $15 but you can get 42 pack of a variation of rod sizes for $12 else where on Amazon.

This worked amazing on my daughters hair, they are 6 and 7. My husband takes them to school in the morning so they often get upset on picture day that I can not be there to do their hair - this worked out PERFECT. I used to sit for hours curling their hair and tons of hairspray, this product takes no effort. They get their nightly shower and after they towel dry, I section their hair and put these in (one pack was enough for both my daughters perfectly even), they were even able to sleep comfortably - then in the morning they take them out themselves! We definitely tested it over the weekend before picture day to see what worked and how to style it without me. Great purchase, I do find that the foam in them may be getting used often so some are becoming smaller than others - for the price I am ok with it.In addition, we attempted to try "as seen on TV" the sleep styler, my kids did not like the Velcro on that one.

These are the first hair rollers I could ACTUALLY sleep in. A lot of rollers say that, and its like yeah if you're one very heavy sleeper. I ended up taking a nap in these.That said, I usually just use them during the day. It only takes a few hours with them in (maybe less, I haven't tried) to get very serious curls. That said, they are very intense curls! I had so many tight ringlets the first time I used them, which after a quick brush gave me pretty much an afro. Kinda cool, but not the look I was going for. I saw a youtube review recommend doubling up on them and that was a life saver! I'll even use three at a time to get larger, softer curls on the top and then one lower down to give some lift. Love it so much more than heat, feels very gentle on my hair. They don't have perfect hold unless you do them very tight, but I just wrap my head in a scarf and they stay in place great!

This product is dollar store quality. The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the absolutely overwhelming smell of PVC plastic. The rollers themselves are very unsturdy, and fell out of my hair during the night. The rollers are also very tiny, and could never achieve curls like what you see in the first photo. The curls come out looking like awkward, unnatural spiral curls.The carrying case is very flimsy, thin and will break easily.

I am incredibly annoyed about this product. They arrived and smelled so awful I couldn't even leave them in my house, let alone sleep with the dumb things in my hair all night. I ended up putting them through 4 loads of laundry and finally used bleach in the 5th load and they still smelled, although not as badly. After going through the washing machine the sponge rollers inside were crumpled and smashed. I tried them in my daughter's hair and they fell out after about 30 minutes, I got them to stay in after a few tries and the curls were pretty, but not any different from the curlers I already have. Several of the rollers came with holes in the seams and the "storage bag" it came with arrived with a hole the length of the zipper. I'll stick with my Goodie rollers I got from Walmart. These are a waste of money, do not buy. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

I saw these on a tv program I was watching had never heard of them before that day. So I searched and found them. I received yesterday in the mail couldn't wait to try. Well they are soft I slept without them bothering me. My curls are full so easy to roll and take out without having strains of my hair being pulled or tangled. I would recommend these rollers quick easy and looks pretty too.
