Great and easy to use
Used these for several projects now including making prop furniture for theatre and the effects you can make with them can look real. They're easy to use, easy to wash and I use them a lot and with the different patterns they always make projects unique and look realistic.

Excellent quality wood graining rocker
4.5 stars. Much better quality than expected. Loses one star on account of the patterns being identical on each tool. Gains half a star as there is a 'comb' on the back for making simple grain lines, but the teeth and gaps between are all the same width, Ideally, to correctly mimic wood grain, the teeth south gradually widen. That's nit-picking, though. The tools are a high quality stiff rubber that gives an superb result every time. Easy to wash and clean, super easy to use. I highly recommend this graining tool.

Not bad
Need to go over paint a few times, and to be careful as if you go to quick the paint/wax gets dragged off

It a fantastic tool, doesn't take much skill
The media could not be loaded. Every review should frankly be 5 star. It's a rubber tool it'll last. Clean it after every use so it doesn't gunk up.It takes very little skill, the video was my second attempt

Brilliant Results!
Like magic!I've taken a risk and painted my old floorboards in my bedroom. White base. Grey grain, so so easy to use. White coat on top to fade the grey grain.Incredible results (hopefully it'll stand the test of time)

Incredible wood grain effect
I was a little hesitant in purchasing due to being a little pessimistic with how these DIY things can turn out. Took the plunge and ripped the old boring carpet off the stairs, sanded down the pine and filled in little nicks and bumps with wood filler. The key is to put a nice light colour paint down first which you’re happy to have as the “grain” then once you go over it with the final darker colour you just glide across with the tool creating as many grain designs as you like, making sure they’re not too identical as we know wood comes in all different patterns and styles.Would definitely recommend!

So much fun!
Just takes a little practice. You could get some really funky other-worldly designs out of these that don't look natural at all, but no prob - just paint over it and keep trying until you're happy with how it looks. It's all in the wrist. ;)I think I nailed IKEA black-brown with this tool: roll base coat with SW Turkish Coffee at 100%, wood grain SW Tricorn Black over it at 4:1 (1 part mixed with 4 parts acrylic glazing medium and a splash of propylene glycol to keep it from drying too fast), then brush over it all with the same black glaze. Top with polyurethane. I think they use matte, but I opted for satin for a little more sheen. I've got it all over the place now. People can't believe that it all started out as cheap white-primed MDF.
