Great product
Bolt hamber is the top dog! This hydrate 80 comes highly recommended and I can see why! I used to use hammerite crust but I’d say this is definitely better. Will buy it again if I need more

Very effective and easy to apply
I used a wire brush and an air needle scaler tool to remove the majority of the rust and crud , then masked off areas that didn’t need treatment.I followed the instructions on the bottle and decanted a small amount into a plastic container, make sure you wear old clothes , protect your eyes , wear a hat and long sleeves …. followed the instructions and eventually painted everything I needed to, take you time , a small amount goes a long way , the painted areas eventually change colour and it’s usually a black satin finish. If you get it on your skin , wash off immediately, when it dries It reminded me of PVA glue on my skin , hard to remove , I didn’t realise it had splashed onto my skin. Cleaning up with clean water …. Rinse your tools and don’t put any unused liquid back in the bottle , just put a lid on the container for now.

Excellent Rust Converter/for all things Steel & Iron metal
'Top Hole' to Bilt Hamber for this Hydrate 80 Rust Converter with spray attachment. Does a dam good job of converting Rust. Great for under the car/bus/lorry, practicaly anything metal & rusting.I have used under car to keep the areas of underseal missed protected.

Not bad but not the miracle cure for the dreaded rust problem
Not bad, not bad , however ..., followed the instructions to the letter, but the rust did start to appear thru the product slightly as I repeated the procedure three times over a few weeks, sorry to report each time it crept back ,I guess the cure all for rust is still the holy Grail for a future product out there somewhere ....

It works!!
So read some good and some poor reviews. In the end felt that this product was worth a go. How pleased am I that i did. Decided to test it on some old tools that were going rusty, that couldn't be cleaned properly in preparation, so would be a proper test. What a result I got. Went blue/black after 20 minutes, left them till I came home the following day and an impressive preformance considering they wernt cleaned or preped properly. Used it on some more tools and same results. As soon as we get some warm weather I can do the bits on the car I bought it for. Recommended.
