First time using cablemod?
It's fine, i seen some splices which after doing research cable mod appears to have a valid reason for this, although it doesn't look the greatest they do make a or what looks to be solid attempt at making it as unnoticeable as possible, helps you can hide it behind the motherboard tray, that being said.....i put these on a seasonic focus plus gold 850 watt with plans to change to a 1000w using these very same cables, now obviously...seasonic isn't cable mod and cable mode isn't seasonic but some of the clips on my don't appear to reach the key hole in a modular power supply, if they do it doesn't appear to sound very solid, i cannot blame cable mod for this i do not know whos directly at fault for this perhaps that'll change with the new PSU, since it's far newer then the focus plus gold, perhaps manufacturing techniques have become a bit more... "within specification" cable mod though is made in china if that's a big deal for you it's a huge deal for me but by and large these cables appear a bit heavier then your average OEM cable, i've seen people also complain of the pins coming out of the connectors, I'd advise prior to installation not giving the cable a hard pull from the connector but light to see if it's in place or not, so you don't have any potential damage in the future. 4/5 Could be better, but i've seen far worse.

Works well
This cable makes wire management look nice and clean. I like the fact its sleek and can hide well within a black PC. I just don't like the pricing. Kinda high for just wires. Overall, if you just need 1 or 2 cables to clean up your PC, just do it to make it look nice. If you don't care about how wires look then don't waste your money.

Good quality cables, a bit rigid though
Bought these for my system using a Corsair RM1000x, works great . Cables are high quality and fairly long, the only negative is that they are a bit stiff and rigid, which makes routing them a bit harder but its a minor inconvenience since you are only doing it once and once you do route them properly they stay in place.P.S. make sure you use the EPS connector for you motherboard

Works as intended
This cable works perfectly, I eliminated 3 pci-e cables + nvidia's adapter. When I heard of nvidia's adapter melting, I wasted no time to look for alternative for my 4080.My phanteks case is wide enough which gives this 12vhpwr cable space for a soft bend.

Cables seemed to be fine but I did not use them.
TL;DR: if you want custom colored cables to match a desired theme and/or you believe cable mod cables are easier to route and manage in your PC case, go for it. If you're not going for a particular theme and have lots of space, or even little space to route cables (I thought cable management in my Air Mini was easier without the cable mod cables), then you could save money and just spend a little time working on your cable management skills. You can achieve a clean build by zip tying multiple PCI cables together to make "one" long, flat cable that terminates at each end with the three connectors for the PSU/GPU, and you can place multiple ties along the cable to tame the shape and direction.First, I'd like to address the splice. I've seen other reviews dogging on the product because of it. I actually was concerned at first, but if you look at the end of the stock cables on the PSU end (the end you plug to the PSU), they have the full 8 wires running to it, but the actual connectors going into the PSU are missing two (like they're just empty where you look inside the connectors whereas in the other 6 you can see something for the PSU to interface with). The cable mod cables only have 6 wires on the PSU end, and then there's a splice or two along the way to the PCI/component connection side to make 8 as needed to plug into your hardware. They simply don't run wires to the 2 blank/empty ones I mentioned on the PSU side of the stock PSU cables. My specific power supply is listed as compatible with these cables and I don't think anything would happen if I had used them. Maybe I'm wrong, but the cables are similar in the way I've described. Besides, if you have an RTX 30xx card, you should be undervolting it to get the extra degrees lower temperature and possibly even slightly underclocking it so it's not constantly boosting to the skies and running high 70s/low 80 degrees C. My card is rated a TDP of 380 W and I can achieve an average of 230-250 W and 60-68 C average with my setup when gaming for 3-4 hours on highest settings and a 2k monitor, so I don't think the cable would have any issue delivering enough power to the GPU if I had used it.On to my next point, I didn't use any of the five cables I bought. I found them to be taking up more space in my case than if I just zip tied three of the flat, stock PCI cables together and ran them like that. The braided cables on this product look fine, but I think they're thicker, altogether and overall, than just using the stock cables. Needless to say, cable mod cables are not going to make your cable management skills any better simply by being what they are. I routed all of my stock cables fine, with some time and care taken to which order the cables were routed. I like a neat and tidy cable area in my case, but I don't care for a super clean, themed cable setup where my cables are out of sight. These cables didn't do anything for me to make cable management any easier, but that's in my case.Ultimately, if you're gonna buy cable mod cables, the best option if you can afford it would be to go custom. Get an idea what theme colors you want and how long you want the cables to be since you can have them made to a length you specify on their website. Be prepared to pay a premium if you do that. If your case or you yourself feel that cable mod cables are easier to fit and route in a case, go for it. I did not find this to be a necessity with my case.

Works perfectly with the Corsair HX1500i
Works perfectly with the Corsair HX1500i power supply. The cable colors also perfectly matches the original kit that I'm using it with and that is the Black/Red color combination.

Does the job, could be better.
I bought this cable as my 3rd pcie cable for my 3080 ROG Strix GPU and it does the job. The cables are really stiff though. Not easy to manage in my opinion. If the were more easily movable that would be great.

Title is a LIE, not the Pro Series.
The title is misleading and a total lie... I ordered this thinking it was for the RM series for Corsair and that it was the Pro Series, as you can see in my picture this isn't the case. Having to return as it will not be compatible with my PSU. Amazon or Overclockers need to sort this items title and description out so it's more accurate, as this has happened to a few people now.

Incorrect description and image
The item is described as "CableMod CM-PCSI-FKIT-NKKW-R PRO ModMesh C-Series AXi HXi & RM Cable Kit" According to CableMod's website this is compatible with my HXi power supply. The Pro ModMesh kit also comes with the superior cables with premium closed cable combs built on to the cables.Alas, I wish I had read the previous reviews, as when this arrived I found that not only is it for the wrong power supply (the supplied kit is compatible with RMi/RMx, not HXi as I require), but it is also the inferior Classic ModMesh Kit, not the Pro ModMesh kit as advertised. Will have to return as useless to me, which means an unnecessary trip to the post office.

A bit over priced...
Had to buy this because their kits only come with 2 8pin pcie cables. With today's standards of GPU cables, I expected 3

Just great!
I've been a pc builder for like 25 years now and have used a dozens of kits in the last 6 months. Usually i go DIY but if a client need his rig fast, i go for pre-made and i can say those are really premium cables. 1st time i receive a damaged packaging but its not the fault of CableMod. I reached their customer service and the person i spoke to was really kind and understood what i needed. Without any hesitations, after i sent him some pictures of the damaged cables, he has sent me replacement cables and i received them very quickly and they are perfect. Packaging was really good too. So for the quality and the amazing support, im giving à 5 stars. I would give more if i could. Yes, they are a bit pricey but they are really worth every penny spent in them. Could use a couple more cable combs tho but thats the only downside and not that big of an issue. Every clients i recommend these cables to, are satisfied. Thanks again for great product and amazing support!
