Relatively Great Product
Took a minute to understand the home controls, since it works with both an Xbox and a PS controller. However, works and plays smoothly. I like the matte finish and webbed control sticks for better grip. It's Bluetooth as well, but I prefer USB, as it will do anything. The controls are still the same (A is A, B is B, RT is RT, etc.). There are other control buttons on the controller that I am not familiar with (not a hardcore gamer), but might be interesting to others, as seen in the photos below. It DOES NOT have batteries; it is a rechargeable controller. It comes as a C-Cable, but any C-cable will work. For battery life, I cannot confirm. I have played Skyrim with this (which we all know we can play hours without noticing the time with that game) and did not show low battery or died on me. The reason I do not know the battery life as it's a habit of mine to charge things right away (otherwise I will forget). I will agree it has a long battery life. I have had this controller for a few months now, and it has worn out as I expected it would. Again, not a hardcore gamer, so it may not be durable to others. In a general use where button-mashing isn't a key component, the product is good. It does not come with a case (as seen in the photos), but I also got it on Amazon for relatively cheap (around $10-$15), and it has been good to me. All in all, a relatively sturdy controller with smooth play and long battery life.

This thing is a great bang for the buck controller
Purchased 2 of these for my wife and I and man are they nice. For the price they feel really sturdy and the quality (So far) has far surpassed the asking price. Controller seems responsive and has no issues connecting through BT or the 2.4ghz dongle. I use mine constantly and the Battery also seems to last a good long amount (a good full day on a full charge) Color options are also pretty stellar.

Works great, good price, study.
My kid uses this for his steamdeck. I haven't used it myself but (1) it worked with his steamdeck immediately and easily and (2) he says its better than all his other controllers (including those for the nintindo switch). He says it has all the right buttons and is perfect .... I think he watched a bunch of youtube videos before he picked this one out. I thought the packaging was simple enough to figure out, but my son couldn't find the USB dongle. It's kind of embedded into the box - if you don't see it, break down all the cardboard and you'll find it.

Impressive PC controller!
This controller is impressive. I would prefer to use a PS5 Dual Sense controller, but I've found that it is incompatible or only usable with workarounds for several PC games. The shape of the 2c is similar to a Switch pro controller, while the layout and button configuration compares to an Xbox or generic PC controller. I originally bought the 2c for games that the Dual Sense was incompatible with, and immediately found that I preferred it over the latter. It's comfortable, and it just works with everything. I don't have to fiddle around in windows or ask Google how to set it up for a particular game. The 2c functions like an Xbox controller, but I prefer the slightly inset profile. The shape and profile are more similar to a Switch Pro controller. The quality is comparable to first party controllers, too. Buttons feels clicky, if just a little too much. Triggers and bumpers feel good, like controllers costing twice as much. Vibration has definition and feels tight with no rattle. I haven't had a use for the extra L4 and R4 buttons yet, but they are convenient enough to access and also stay out of the way. I bought a green one of these about a month ago. I was so impressed, I ordered a purple one so my son and I can play together. For the price, I don't have many criticisms. I wish it came in different colors. Otherwise, for the price, this really is as good as you're going to get, and more.

Excellent hardware, but double-check platform compatibility before buying
I’ve had mixed experiences with 8BitDo controllers over time, but the Ultimate 2C Bluetooth controller I recently purchased has been solid so far. This particular controller works correctly on Windows PC using Bluetooth, the 2.4GHz dongle, and wired USB, and it worked out of the box with no firmware updates required. The Hall effect analog sticks are incredibly smooth, precise, and feel noticeably better than standard sticks, especially for platformers and casual PC games. Battery life has been strong, lasting multiple days depending on use, and the controller fits smaller hands very well, which makes it a great option for kids. That said, my past experience with other 8BitDo models included inconsistent wireless pairing and one controller that only worked reliably on Switch, despite being advertised more broadly. Because of that, I strongly recommend confirming the exact model’s platform support before purchasing. When it works, the hardware quality is excellent — just make sure you’re buying the right version for your setup.

Best Gamepad for PC I've ever had (and I've had alot)!!
Fantastic controller. I've been playing fighting games for decades and Street Fighter is my go to. I would love to play charge characs, but I'm notoriously bad at using them, especially Guile. I've used many gamepads, including Hori's 6 button facing one's but none feel as good and natural as this one. It has a textured,Nintendo controller feel on the body, but the buttons feel very nice and substantial and the weight is very good. Plus the directional pad feels peeeeeeeeeeerrrfect. I know because i used Guile in training mode for Street Fighter 6 and made myself practice doing 10+ sonic booms (charge move) in a row and did it on 2nd try. And the analog sticks are very nice. This was all done on the 2.5 ghz mode. I haven't tried wired mode and I probably won't try Bluetooth on a pc because Windows Bluetooth stack is garbage. But i would definitely recommend this game pad for any pc gamers,or any of there console counterparts as well, especially considering how much more those respective gamepads cost.

Comfortable, Compatible, and Cheap
This item is great it is compatible with so many things such as: fire tv, Nintendo switch, and androids. It is very easy to connect it. I played madden on my fire tv with this it worked great. It was also, super cheap Side note: it comes with a dongle and wire.

Issues from the getgo and no support from 8bitdo software (Updated)
Firstly when I connected this via bluetooth on Windows 11 - the controller would not work - and I am trying to play Wukong with it of all games! Secondly - I switch over to the 2.4ghz setting and yeah it works - but the vibration motors will constantly pulse so the controller never stops vibrating - and I hate vibration on controllers period. Third - I though maybe I just need to update the firmware - but no this controller is not supported by their Ultimate Software or the Firmware Updater - so you are basically left with what you get out of the box - which for me is apparently a controller with a messed up firmware. Fourth - there are no back buttons and I believe I read there were - just the extra shoulder buttons which are about as useless as a puppy with two peters if you ask me. Overall the build quality is just as good as any other controller from 8bitdo (and I have I think 8 others from them) - however the experience of actually trying to use it has been absolutely terrible. I hate to score one of my favorite companies' product this way - but out of the box - this is what is has earned. I am going to try to contact their support to see if they can help at all - but to not be able to play the game this was designed for out of the box is a pretty damned poor experience. I will update if I am able to make my experience any better but for now - 1 star all day. So I got in touch with 8bitdo support and as always they were quick to respond and gave me a new version of their software that allowed me to update the controller firmware. It still doesn't let you customize the controller via that app - and it doesn't work on their previous version of the app still either - so if you are wanting to adjust things like deadzone of triggers/joysticks and the third shoulder buttons - no luck with that you have to program them using the controller itself. Other than that it works very nicely - the hall effects snap back to center with no bounce at all it's very accurate that way. The layout of the XBox/Switch for the joysticks is a great alternative to my Pro2. I still lament that there are no back buttons - the XBox Elite is the only controller I have that natively allows for two sets of alternate buttons - this one could have been a true breakout by having both the extra shoulder and back buttons. The bluetooth does not give you X-Input on Windows - it only gives D-Input for Android phones (IOS too?) - I would hope they will open up the Bluetooth mode to use X-Input on PC - because on Windows when you connect the bluetooth you also get an on-screen battery indicator - something they have yet to release on other Bluetooth controllers like the Pro2. This means that the only way you get an indication of low battery is the same as the Pro2 - when the red light starts blinking (and on the Pro2 - unless you get the new special edition clear plastic ones - you're never gonna see that light blink) so that's another opportunity lost. I hope 8bitdo reads these reviews and adjusts their firmwares/apps accordingly because they always have something off with each controller that stops them from truly hitting the bullseye - I love them but on each one they seem to mess with something that moves it from one side of the target to the other - great but just still off a bit. Last thing - great price.
