Clinique Aromatics Elixir Eau de Parfum Spray | Notes of Bulgarian Rose, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Jasmine + Vetiver

A friend of mine wears this perfume and it always smells so fresh. When I asked her what it was, I was quite surprised that this is an oldie, but goodie! I love that it has a hint of musk or earthiness to it because it balances out the scent. You get a clean floral scent than a hint of a deeper warmer note. It’s a perfect balance, and great all year round perfume. As the day goes on, it smells fresher!

This scent smells god. It last long and I like it.

This is my favorite fragrance. I buy it in the purse size because it doesn’t go bad in the time it takes me to use it. It also comes in a larger size, but it turns to alcohol and is too strong. Stores have stopped selling the purse size! So was delighted to find it on Amazon. It’s $35. But for me very worth it. Judy C.

UPDATE: I put this fragrance away thinking I would give it to someone who would appreciate it and then forgot about it. I rediscovered it a few days ago and decided to try it again now that the weather is much colder.Yes, the animalic musks are strong but in the best way. Aromatics Elixir is a beautiful fragrance that has everything a good chypre should have: musk, moss, citrus, and patchouli. It's earthy and intense. I'm in love and am going to purchase a full sized bottle.This would be a beautiful fragrance but the civet is much too intense. My grandmother wore this in the 80s and I don't remember the civet being so overwhelming. Perhaps I'm just not used to synthetic civet and my brain is reading it as a threat. This is why people go scent blind to a fragrance. Once the brain determines the new perfume is not a threat, it no longer wastes energy on smelling(processing) the scent.I'm glad I only bought the travel size because this is going in the trash.

Travel size is great and the smell is soft.

I’m tried a friend’s perfume and liked the way it smelled on me so I ordered some on here. It doesn’t smell the same as her bottle which makes me question the authenticity of the product I received. Maybe they changed the formula recently? I was expecting something different based on what my friend let me try. Thankfully I bought a small bottle but it smells very musty in a bad way. The only positive is the scent lingers even if it’s offensive. I’m disappointed, but glad I didn’t buy the large bottle like I originally planned.

I love this fragrance in small doses — not everyone does. It’s unique
