Italian Roman Eagle with fasces PVC patch. The Eagle and fasces is in retro-style Coyote Brown color with a dark brown background and coyote brown frame. The back of the patch is made of a highly durable PVC material with hook and loop threading which makes it perfect for tactical clothing (i.e., hats, jackets, belts, shirts, backpacks, or any accessory equipped with the Velcro hook and loop material. The Eagle and Fasces are roman symbols in origin. They would later become adopted by Benito Mussolini and Italian Fascists in the 1920's (and throughout World War Two) to symbolize the recreation of a new Roman Empire. The Fasces was usually a bundle of sticks or rods representing Unity, with an axe in the center signifying the strength that comes from Unity.
