Was skeptical at first....
Not a big board game person. More of a console game really. Saw this and thought it would be something fun to do with kids. First time play through was a bit rough. Made some mistakes even though the instruction are relatively easy to understand. Once I looked up a video for a playthrough it was quite easy after that. The game is really fun and a cool throwback to the 8 bit graphics . Kids really enjoy it and the replay value is very good. The game offers different play types and difficulty to keep the fresh.

A lot of playability for the prices and fun
It was a gift to my husband for Xmas and he loves it. We have played it multiple times and taken it to play with family. Slowely ranking up the difficulty and trying new characters. It's a great game with a lot of playability.

Not Enough Character Stands
Not Sure if it's a mistake or not, but I only received like 6 of the little plastic stands. The ratio of the stand pieces and things that needs to be on the stand is not that great because some people will have stands and others won't. Because of that I would have to -1 star. I have to -1 another star, because your hero needs to "dive," when a chamber is destroyed. Very complicated when a person dives and they don't have a stand. Everything along with the game play of the game is quit simple and enjoyable.

Can you get the fire?
One of the most fun cooperative games we've played on game night ever. It is a great backup plan when you can't think of something new to investigate. Always a different experience, always fun.

Super fun!
This game is fun and the artwork is great! I really think our 9 year-old picked it up really quick and it's really cool to have a cooperative type game to play

Retro themed co-op
This is a fun coop game with a strong retro video game theme. It's nice that it goes up to 6 players. Also with 8 characters, 4 variants, and 8 difficulty levels, it has a lot of replayablity.

Fun game
I love the simplicity of this game. Setup is easy, and play moves fast. The difficulties add a nice challenge, and the alternate scenarios keep replay value high.
