I recently invested in the Samsonite 28-Inch Suitcase, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. This suitcase is the epitome of travel convenience and durability. My last similar no-name case lasted about 4 trips so I decided it was time to buy something solid. The size, at 28 inches, strikes the perfect balance between spaciousness and maneuverability. It offers ample room for packing without being overly bulky. The interior organization is top-notch, featuring thoughtful compartments that make packing and unpacking a breeze. Durability is where this suitcase truly shines. The tough exterior material not only withstands the rigors of baggage handling but also looks sleek and sophisticated. The wheels glide effortlessly, and the telescopic handle feels sturdy and reliable. It's amazingly light for it's size and construction. Security is another area where Samsonite excels. The combination lock provides peace of mind, and the zippers feel robust and secure. In terms of aesthetics, the suitcase's design is both timeless and modern. I bought this during Prime Days so it was at a great price! Used it for my Disney honeymoon to put all of our junk we bought during our trip. This thing can hold A TON of stuff! Moving it throughout the airport and then from the buses and being handled a lot it held up so great! I wanted to see how it would do when we checked the bag and got it back both times, and it did SO GOOD! As expected, there were some scratches here and there but just very mild compared to some of the other bumps I saw that the air line did to other people's suitcases. It protected all of our souvenirs (we had some glass ones too!) and we couldn't be happier with it! It does get pricier without a sale, so if you're looking to buy one I would suggest waiting til Prime Days or a big sale event. Definitely worth the investment!

Bag is super light and looks great. For the occasional traveler, this bag will serve you well and is worth the price. This bag will also serve you well on international flights that severely limit the size and weight of carry-on bags. I've logged 3 cross country trips in one month and find the quality to be decent. The inner lining, straps on each half, and the separator are very well done with good quality construction. The release button on the handle has a full rubber cover; thus, dust will not likely cause issues with the button operation. The issue: single wheel per corner will not likely survive too many trips. The wheels are rather slim and will catch into the expansion joints in concrete as well fall into minor pock marks on other surfaces and cause the bag to suddenly jerk you back. Further, the wheels do not roll smooth on low pile carpets and the casters do not respond quick enough to allow for rapid direction changes. Other things to consider: The zipper pull locks are rather weak and will likely break in time. I do, however, like the lock's ability to keep the zipper handle in place in a tidy manner. I wouldn't trust the lock to keep anyone out...not a problem for me as I rarely check my bags in the belly of the plane. The handle will twist rather easily; thus, you won't always have postive control over the motion of the bag. Then again, this bag is meant to be as light as possible and yet still functional. The luggage looks good, inside is nice and works well, but the shell is simply NOT durable. I've traveled with this set of luggage twice where all bags were checked in on United Airlines. On the first trip, the 25" pc got a huge crack in the front face on the return trip rendering it unusable. With a lot of talking and back and forth, Samsonite eventually replaced the 25" suitcase. I just returned from a second trip using the original 20" and 28" bags plus the replacement 25". On the 25", the rubbery outer coating of one wheel half ripped off on the cobblestone streets of Venice making it now a very noisy and awkward bag to roll. I can kind of give Samsonite a pass on the wheel since it was a rough surface, but still, it's luggage and it's Samsonite. I certainly expected better. And the worse part is yet another major front face crack on this new replacement bag after claiming it post-flight. Another suitcase down the drain. And lastly, there's now a 3" corner crack on the 28" bag. The bags weren't mishandled at all during regular use to/from the airports and the hotels... wheeled as you normally would and checked in as you normally would. The 25" and 28" pieces of luggage aren't carry-on size... if you're using them to fly, you're checking them in. They need to be able to handle normal use of being checked in. I just can't recommend these bags after so little use getting this many major cracks. I didn't expect 'disposable' luggage from Samsonite... pretty disappointing.

I've had this suitcase for two years, and I've used it on 4 international trips. I bought the 28" size and it's very roomy, holds 14 days worth of clothing and a (large, don't judge me!) toiletries case. I love how I can organize things, and the interior flap and fasteners holds everything in place. The TSA friendly lock is great, it's build-in so there's no scramble to find padlocks before you leave home. The suitcase is of medium weight, not as light as a fabric case but not too heavy. I honestly bought this suitcase for the spinner wheels. I have lower back issues and I was hoping that a suitcase that could be maneuvered efficiently whilst upright would help. It does, and it puts zero strain on my back. It makes travelling a lot less stressful. I've noticed that some reviews have noted zipper problems. I haven't experienced that, the zippers are great. If I had a single problem with the suitcase it would be the interior flap. It's functional and the pockets are great for light, slim items, but it's held in place with clips, not zippered. I know someone with a case that has a zippered flap, and it's pretty amazing. On the other hand, that case costs $75 more, so I'll accept the clips.

Used excellent condition??? If this is used but in excellent condition I would hate to see the suitcases if they were labeled fair or good condition. This is unacceptable. There was a flight tag with the persons compete address left on the suitcase….seriously??? These cases looked like they had been used many times.

Es todo lo que necesitaba! Me voy de viaje 15 días y no tenía maleta, qué mejor que una de buen tamaño y buena marca. Se ve bastante resistente. Las llantas muy suaves y muy espaciosa! Aparte de que tiene cierre para hacerla más ancha. El candado de combinación es fácil de cambiar y de usar. Amé el color!
