Extremely effective.
Extremely effective! I read the mixed reviews and was wondering if I should buy or not. Decided it’s just a matter of 200rs so I may as well. Really glad I did. It has eradicated all the cockroaches in my kitchen.

Not effective as they claim
Not much effective. Baby roaches doesn't die. Just adjacent to the cream roaches started their nest. Looks like roaches are becoming smarter nowadays. Quality is poor. Smell is not there. Stain will stay, if not wiped manually even after a month.

It works; I saw dead roaches in the morning; but the quantity is a bit less than projected
To give you a background, my house is infested with roaches (mainly the kitchen and living room spaces) and I unfortunately live in a house with people who don't share my concern for hygiene, so these roaches have made my home theirs for the last few years. I have tried everything from sprays to granules but they were at best temp solutions. I decided to try this gel out of desperation. If this was not going to work I was going to call professional sprayers. I only got this gel a few days ago and I only used it for two days so I might update this review later on depending on results. So I bought this Hit gel and the Marcos Gel based on reading Amazon reviews. I decided to buy both because I didn't know which will give me the desired results (there were so many mixed reviews which confused me). I used the Hit gel at first and I applied it in all the corners of my kitchen. When I woke up next morning I noticed quite a few dead roaches all around the kitchen. There were maybe 20 roaches that died in total and I don't know if that is a large number given that I don't know how deep the infestation is. But it was satisfying to see at least 20 dead ones for the first day trial run. I wanted to write this review to say the gel is working. I am not trained in knowing the different breed of roaches (because I kept reading that there is the American roach, the Oriental one, the German one and how they each need different approaches to kill) but I only tried this gel on day one and whatever roach was at my home did eat this and did die from it. So I found the gel to be working 100 per cent. That is what I wanted to write here. You can safely buy this and try it in case you have a bad infestation at home.My advice is clean the place first, remove all dirt, rubbish and clutter from the area where you feel roaches come out at night, and then apply this gel. I applied a small portion (like a dot, the size of a pea) spaced out every two tiles across the kitchen. One negative to this is that the ants are also attracted to this gel and I saw them eat some of it and die (the negative is that they might end up eating most of this gel leaving none for the roach). So if you have a lot of ants at home then this could become their food before it gets to the roaches. But I saw roaches coming to eat this as well and dying from it, so I can assure you it works. Don't read the negative reviews and feel confused as I did.The injection mechanism of the gel is not as bad as some of the reviews here seem to suggest. I didn't find it that difficult to use. You just had to press it twice or thrice sometimes to get the gel out but it was not a hassle. The only negative I found from this experience is that this gel gets depleted very quickly. So for two hundred rupees it can seem rather pricey because the quantity seems less and the injection mechanism might mean that you can't use all that is inside the product to its last layer. This is my only negative feedback. But I am trying the other Marcos Gel tonight and if that works too I might move to using that on the long run because its quantity seems more for the same price. But if you are desperate to clean your home and if the cost factor is not too high for you then I would recommend Hit. Try Hit along with some other gel too in case you want to experiment with the brands like I wanted to. Just buy two units of this (in case you have a large area to cover) because I felt I ran out of this gel quickly. I wish the makers would sell this in a larger quantity.
