Awesome quality. Painted metal is good. The pegs are optional. You dont have to use them. Keeps laptop snug. There are pads that pad the bottom of it if you want that, I have a case around the computer. This is a great solution for people with big monitors on their desk. With the MacBook Pro no docking station needed. Just plug monitors into the computer. Done. The sidecar for the laptop here is awesome. This is a good setup. I think it's the best out of the bunch. Go for it.

The 1* reviews are kind of confusing; who cares about the pen holder? I bought this thing to hang my laptop off the side of my desk, and for that purpose it is absolutely perfect. I have 100% confidence that it's not going to bend or break. It's very well designed and seems to be made of super high quality materials. I guess if you're concerned about the peg area, look elsewhere..? But if, like me, you're just looking a sturdy place to put stuff on the side of your desk, this is an excellent choice. I think I'll buy a second one so I can put both of my laptops side by side... And maybe a third for my notebooks. So many options for clearing my desk space!

This organizer does exactly what I wanted and helped free up space on my desk. Installation was simple, and it holds my laptop securely. My only complaint is that I wish the width was adjustable. It fits some devices better than others, and a little more flexibility would make it much more versatile. Overall, it's a solid product and does the job well.

Love this add on little guy. I use it for my laptop when I am connected to my docking station at home. I have large monitors and no where for my laptop. This was awesome to have it tucked away safe. Would recommend!

very well made! I was very impressed with the thick gauge steel this is constructed from. It's beefy. You know it's steel because the magnets stick (and very well, I might add). So this isn't simply a plastic-dipped, bent aluminum tray, this is strong enough that I trust my laptop won't drop, fall, or get jostled about. The connection to the desk is similarly solid and it goes up and down as I raise and lower my standing desk throughout the day. It has some rubber bits to make sure the laptop doesn't get all scratched up, and the powder coating is solid and nicely textured. It could hold a much thicker laptop, so I like that it can hold my work or personal laptop (maybe even both at the same time!?). I use the headphone stand every day, so it is nice to have there, even if it sticks out a bit. The pegboard style is not compatible with any other pegboards I have, so not sure if it's proprietary, but the holder works for now. I like that the bin can hold my office badge and keys, too. Overall, I was very impressed with this and it was better made than I expected for the price.

It provides the extra storage I need on my desk with a stylish look. Easy to put together and the wrench needed was provided. This is what you need for a standing desk. And I picked this item specifically because the handle part that is attached to the desk is also attached to the organizer with BOLTS and nuts. There are similar side desk organizers on Amazon where they GLUE on the attachments so the whole thing falls apart eventually. Nah. This Pegzone one is sturdy. It can hold my 2 laptops though I don't recommend because it's a tight fit. But one laptop and paper notebook? perfect

It’s a bit heavy but it’s heavy duty, attached to a desk well. I’ve got books and notebooks galore stuffed in it and it’s never fallen. Helped clean up some space for more (easily manageable) ADHD flat surface piles. It’s magnetic as well. The only criticism is the headphone hook isn’t the most reliable.

I just received this item. Very nice packaging, including a clear installation instruction leaflet. This must be a product by people with really great taste :) The holder itself is beautifully designed, very strong and sturdy, clean and smooth edges and surfaces, and overall perfectly manufactured. I believe a lot of thinking has gone into the design and details of this product. I really like it and if the measurements fit your specific requirements, I highly recommend it.

I bought two of these for my desk, one to hold little items like my notebook, knitting kit, nail bits I use while at my desk. I use the second to hold things like my work laptop at the end of the day. It's really helped declutter my standing desk without needing to replace the whole thing. They both feel sturdy and have been up for a month or so now with no issues. Only small bit of feedback, if I have an IKEA pegboard and all those pieces are metal whereas the cup you get here is plastic. It's not a massive deal, but if I had the choice I'd have wanted metal like the rest of the product.

I love that thing. Great spacesaver. Easy to assemble, it holds in place no problem. The only thing, which doesn't bother me that much at this point, is that when you remove, let's say the laptop, you can inadvertantly push the pins of the pen holder off and... all pens and pen holder are now on the floor.

Wish this had more holes, but it works well enough. I am using this to hold my router on the side of my desk. I just wish the holes lined up so I could use the mounting points.
