Super light and compact!! (but not for larger adults)
I got the iClimb folding chair primarily for my son to use. Right out of the box, I noticed that it is super light and small. Easy to throw in the trunk or just move around the house. Setting up the chair was straight forward. Not to many pieces or complicated. My 8-year-old son really liked it, but note that the back is lower so even for him is wasn't a slouch and rest your head posture, more upright. He used the side pocket to store his small toys or a drink. It worked great but doesn't get in the way if not being used. An added bonus was the carry bag that came with the chair. It feels super strong and makes moving the chair around very easy. Some travel bags are hopelessly small where you'll never fit the item back into it once unpacked... not the case here! The case is nicely sized - not too big or too small. The one thing to maybe be aware of is that because the chair is built to be light and easy to move, it is smaller and didn’t feel as sturdy when I briefly tried it (210lbs, 5'10"). I guess it's just a trade-off for having such an incredibly compact and portable chair. That’s great for kids, but larger adults might find it too snug for them. Pros: - Small size and light - great for traveling. - Carrying it around is a piece of cake. - Sets up in no time. - Great for kids! - The bag it comes with feels durable and is easy to pack it into! Cons: - Might be a tight fit for larger adults and the legs flexed more than I was comfortable with when I sat in it - likely would be fine but I was afraid to lean and put too much pressure on it (unavoidable trade-off for being so light) In a nutshell, the iClimb chair is great for those who want something light and easy. 100% recommended for kids... but, if you're a larger adult looking for a comfy seat to fully lean back in, you might want to consider carrying a sturdier (but also heavier) option.

Modifications needed for beach use
I bought 2 of these chairs for a trip to Hawaii. The plan was to pack them in my suitcase and use them on the beaches, instead of renting chairs. Much to my dismay and several hand blisters later, we were traveling from Island to Island without being able to collapse these chairs fully. Sand had wedged itself into every groove possible, especially the joints of the bottom bar. We tried twisting, hammering, soap, oil, and prayers. Nothing, it seemed, would dislodge the poles for collapsing. In a desperate hour before boarding the plane, we managed to finally return both chairs to their bags. How we managed was nothing short of a miracle and the truest definition of teamwork. You may be wondering why the 4 star rating then. Well these chairs are the perfect travel companion at less than 2 pounds each and so small they fit in checked luggage with our tiny camping table, a shade tent, snorkeling gear, and all the clothing/supplies I would need for 3 weeks in Hawaii. They are fairly decent chairs once assembled and we achieved our goal of saving money by never renting chairs. Here's your PRO TIP should you decide these chairs are right for you: wrap the joint with something to keep out the sand (we used tin foil from a dollar store) and set the assembled chair's bottom bar into the open carrying bag before setting the whole thing in the sand. We haven't looked back. Works like a charm!

Great camp chair for hiking, camping, and outdoor adventures
This collapsable camp chair has really been a game changer for my frequent day hikes, I just love it! It's easy to use and quick to set up and take down. You can quickly unfold and refold both the frame and seat with both fitting easily into its tough carry bag. It's only 1.8 lbs and when packed is only 13.8 inches tall making it perfect for carrying in my backpack. It's so comfortable! After hiking for hours it's a real joy to sit in. I especially like its low-profile close-to-the-ground design. It provides excellent back support and allows my legs to stretch out without any constriction. The frame is made of aluminum with quick snap-in-place stretch cords; it practically puts itself together when you unfold it! I'm 6'3" and weigh 185 lbs, and for me it feels strong and sturdy. I hike in the Sierra Nevada foothills on volcanic mudflow (Lahar) which has an extremely rocky and uneven surface, and even on this terrain the chair maintains its stability. The seat and carry bag are made of high quality 900D ripstop Oxford fabric with double seam stitching throughout. The corners of the chair are especially well sown and reinforced. I like the side vents, they're a real plus on hot days. The convenient phone and cup holder are an added bonus. Overall I'm quite pleased with this folding camp chair and look forward to many more great adventures with it! Highly recommend.

A very well designed, light, portable, and comfortable camping chair
I really like this chair. It packs very small, is very light, and though low to the ground is remarkably comfortable. While I bought this for campground use, it's small and light enough that I could easily clip it to my backpack for when I am doing dispersed/primitive camping if I wanted to. The design is smart - while ultimately folding out large enough to easily accommodate my not insignificant backside, it has a set of shock cord loaded poles that are brought together (no manual needed) to take the small fully packed "folding" set of posts and combine them into a very workable chair frame, which you then just further slip the included seat around the open post ends to complete construction and begin use. To repack, you just reverse the steps. Both directions take little effort as everything is very well machined and things mate and unmate easily. Once the frame is folded again, you pack it in the included bag, put the seat cover in on top, and zip. The bag, while small, is amply sized so you are not struggling to push everything back together to pack it away. One thing I particularly like about this chair is it doesn't have any pointy chair posts sticking toward the ground. Everything that touches the ground is a closed loop. This avoids both getting the pointy bits jammed with mud or sand, but also makes it more usable on sandy surfaces (like the beach) where it has flat surfaces to ride on top. The only trade off there is it can make it slightly less stable on certain hard ground situations, but the trade seems worth it, though some care is needed to make sure the chair is stable before use. It even comes with a working cupholder designed in a way to ultimately weigh basically nothing, yet, actually be functional at the campsite. Again - good design. Finally, I'd also like to commend the seller, who when I had a small problem, resolved it quickly in a friendly and agreeable fashion. I would happily recommend this chair and the seller.

Great quality
This chair is a great quality & compact piece. I'm 5'8" and fit comfortably on it . It took less than 2 minutes to put together and comes with a convenient bag. I got the mesh version and it's great for those humid days. Currently using it while I write this review. You can get up easily without the chair buckling or tipping over. Love it for my small porch!

Fair Lightweight Chair (But Could Be Better)
Overall decent chair - if you get it on sale. I paid about $33 to get the mesh version in Used Like New condition. Assembly is not too bad, though you do have to pay attention to putting the lower legs on in the right direction, so I will keep the instructions (photographic and written, very helpful). There is no lumbar support and it does have a little bit of the "slipping out" feel due to the material and reclined curve, so I shove a jacket or pillow behind my back. As others have noted, it's low. I like that I can rock back on the back legs some, like in the product pictures, but I don't completely trust the strength of the legs in that position (and I'm about 135lb), so don't do it too often. The weight listed in the description appears to be accurate. My mesh chair was supposed to be 1.7lb and without the carry case it came out to 1lb 9oz, or 1.5625lb. I just used the webbing and clip that are attached to the legs for stability to wrap it up in a bundle, so no bag needed to keep all the parts together.

Best quality, weight and price.
This is the best camping/backpacking chair for the quality, weight and price I've found. Works great to throw in a backpack anywhere you go. Great for the beach too.

Broke after two uses
Broke after two uses, while I was putting it away. Cord snapped and metal attachment, where the cord affixes broke. Not something I can repair as it would need to be welded.

Light and comfy
I haven't taken it out on the trails yet but it was easy to set up, very confy to sit in and feels sturdy and strong... I'm only small and light so perfect for me but I wouldn't recommend it for someone very tall or heavy. Better for those under 60-70kg max

Good light seat
I like this a lot. Light, easy to put together. No feet to stick through groundsheet and a lot better than sitting on the ground

Very good
Better than expected. Using for bicycle touring so needs to be light and packable, feels sturdy too but can topple over if your not careful. For me this ticks all the boxes.
