Must have product for any home mechanic
Bought this tool to cut steerer tube on my road bike. Even though I had researched the tool and it's use, and watched countless videos ....... anyone who has undertaken the task for the first time will tell you its a nerve racking experience. My advice is to measure, measure and measure again ....... grab a coffee then measure again. If you are cutting carbon, then purchase recommended blade. The final cut is brilliant.I also have to add that I cheated ....... I didn't remove fork. I laid bike on an old duvet and polystyrene blocks, removed handlebar ....... keeping everything connected. All the mechanics out there will probably be saying ...... noooooo. But no problems. Job done

Gap is too big, does not guide a straight cut
The gap in the guide is too big by approx 2mm therefore you cannot rely on it for a straight and square cut through a carbon steerer, I used the matching Park tool carbon blade. I would not recommend this
