1st, the journal itself has the look and feel of a more expensive journal and the included paper is of very good quality...I'm glad that I bought an extra pack of it. The journal is attractive and would work very well for a businessperson, student, writer or journaler. The cover is flexible but sturdy. It's small enough to slip into a backpack or briefcase but large enough to handle your writing needs. It would have been nice if it came with a pen loop but, since I already had a package of them, I just added my own. That is a personal preference of mine so it definitely doesn't affect my rating of the product. I'm a writer so it's handy to have the attached pen just in case inspiration strikes. My journal arrived missing the top lever that opens the rings so I used the card that had been enclosed with the journal and emailed them about this. Within a few hours, I received a very nice email from CrackNotebooks with an apology and an offer of a replacement. I was pretty impressed because I've had issues in the past with a few other vendors and if they responded, it was usually a form type email that only partially addressed the issue that I was having. So, I'd give them 5 stars just for the customer service alone. Even the box that the journal arrived in is cute and sturdy. I plan to use it for holding pens and such on my desk. I highly recommend this journal and the paper that comes with it.

PROs: It lays flat so it is easy to write. Plain and elegant design. Paper of nice quality, and it is easy to find any refills for that size.CONs: I was looking for sth more leather like to touch. This material reminds me of how microfiber cloths tends to attach to the skin. Smell and touch was not sth that I can look for in favourite notebook. It certainly doesn't have anything to do with leather, even with PU leather or any other faux leather fabric. If material would be better, it would easy become very desired notebook. Returned.

Not the high quality; soft, supple, leather with a good smell, I was hoping for. It will work for my purpose, but wish the leather felt like and smelled like leather. It has a chemical smell, which I am sure will wear off with time. seems constructed well and is a handy size for travel. I will do a follow up in year on durability, unless I have issues sooner.

It is a very beautiful notebook. I like it very much. The leather is thick. I use the fountain pen in all my writing, and it did not bleed through the papers.The qualities of both the notebook and the papers are very good. I will definitely be getting the second one.

I like to write my to do's down, but hated how it looked in journal once page ripped out. So went for a ringed one and bought some dividers. Love it!

Very angry, I spent almost $30 for this and you are charging me almost $8.00 to return??? REALLY? If I knew this I never would have purchased it!! WOW!

I have always kept my sermon notes in a diary size note book which normally come prebound and I have to wright in them. This notebook is perfect in that it allows me to put the loose sheets in my printer and print my notes. The size is perfect as I like to carry my notes as I preach (I don't stand always behind the pulpit).

Plain styling but well built. The 150gsm paper is excellent. This is exactly what I was looking for.
