Strange thing. I ordered one for myself and one for my friend. Mine works just great, but my buddy couldn’t make it count right. We tried this and that, but all in vain - i just wouldn’t work. Maybe it’s all about location. My store is on the sunny side of the street, so it gets more natural light, while my friend’s is in a more shadowy place, with lots of trees around. So I guess the description is right: it only counts accurately if not affected by changes in light. I’m the lucky one, since it works for me. Otherwise, I would’ve had to go for a more expensive device.

I needed a people counter to help with traffic at my business. This product detect changes in light to trigger a count. In that the product is successful. The only problem is that light is every where at all times and ever changing. So when I installed it at the door near floor level to hide it, literally any shift in light triggers a count. Had it installed and with zero people entering and leaving the building it counted 31 visits in about 5 minutes. This product is hot garbage. Don’t waste your money. Invest in a higher end product that has more safeguards and accuracy.

Indeed this counter might not work for every store. We’ve installed the counters in each of our 4 stores. 3 of them worked just fine, but one went crazy and counted each visitor four times! We replaced it with another one from the other store - same thing. Apparently the problem is not with the counter, but with something else, we couldn't figure out what exactly. It’s just like each counter would refuse to work properly in this particular store. The device has a low-profile look, but serves its purpose quite well. We had to send the fourth counter back and got a more expensive one instead.

Extremely sensitive! It picks up everything including shadows and light that reflects off the floor. It does count people alright, but it’s just too complicated. Next time I would rather order a more expensive counter that won’t make me tie myself into knots trying to figure out how to make it work.

I used to have a visitor counter of a different brand, but it broke down, so I needed to replace it with something as soon as possible. I chose this one because it was affordable and the seller promised fast delivery. It did come very fast and I was able to start using it on that same day. Didn’t take much effort to install, it’s all quite obvious, I didn’t even read the instructions. It works well, I’m satisfied. We’ll see how it lasts.

I bought 2 of these to collect stats on people in and out of my library. One is still working and the other is not. I use a paperclip every morning to reset - the hole is tiny so there is no other option and I have always made sure to be gentle. I am the only one to reset the counters so I know they haven't been handled roughly. The button inside that is clicked came loose from the board rendering the device useless. For almost $100 I expected to get years of usage, not months. I have had them 7 months.

Too sensitive. It counts sun lights and shadows. I’ll buy bidirectional infared one.

I’ve been using it in my cafe for about a week and it has never failed me. I reset it every day to see how many customers I have each day, which days are more popular and how the dynamics changes over time. I think this is a very useful tool for a retail business. This one is very easy to use and the price is great.

Le détecteur compte plusieurs passages lorsqu'une seule personne passe devant le détecteur. Malgré une installation qui respecte absolument TOUTES les recommandations du vendeur : lieu, distance, luminosité... Nous l'avons testé à trois endroits différents, mais la sensibilité est trop forte, et le compteur enregistre deux à trois passages à chaque fois que quelqu'un passe.

Il prezzo poi è esageratamente alto per il prodotto, a 85,00 euro nemmeno le batteria ci hanno dato In conclusione sono molto deluso.
