I gave myself tennis elbow while working on a heavy duty sculpting project. After a month of pain I went to the doctor and he suggested an elbow support of this kind, and physio exercises.I've been fairly slack with the exercises so far (I need to get a routine going!), but have been wearing the brace for 2 days and can already feel the difference. The pressure is just enough to protect the tendon during movement, without getting in the way. It's so comfortable you forget you're wearing it.I know this is working, because the pain comes right back when I take it off and start moving again. Given that I've been in a lot of pain for a month, it's a welcome relief: I'd say my elbow has gone from a 7 on the pain scale during day to day movement, to a 4 straight away. And when resting the pain has gone from a 4 to a 2. Highly recommended.

I am actually a rheumatology doctor and bought this for my mother who has tennis elbow. There is some evidence base for this although tennis elbow usually does settle.It works well it certainly eased, but did not alleviate my mothers symptoms. However after about a week the velcro did weaken meaning I actually used tape to seal it shut. Just bare that in mind especially if you frequently tighten the strap

Not great this just transferred my pain further up my arm.

Very good strong item Made better by the pad also to direct the extra pressure where needed.
