Not a bad laser for playing around with the cats. I did run in to a small issue, it seems if you use the flashlight for a period of time, it diminishes the laser quality. I was using the laser to play with my cats for about 3 days. I decided I would check the led light and just mess around with it. I used the light for about 5 mins then went to use the laser and the laser was very dull. Figured I needed new batteries, so I exchanged 2 different batteries and still the laser could barely be seen. Decided to use the second laser, it was nice and bright, used the led light and bam same thing happened to the laser. I ordered replacements, used the same original batteries as the faulty ones and the new lasers are bright and work well. There is definitely some issue between the led light and laser. I'll just stick to not using the light and only the laser from here on.Update: Had the second pair for about a month and the laser has deminished greatly. Changed batteries and same result. Something is definitely not right with these. So to recap, I've had 4 total, all work great at first then fade.

These lights are horrible!I bought these laser pointers two months ago. From the first use, one light was weaker than the other. Now after very little use, they are both horrible. My cats can't even see the light!! I changed the batteries to lithium Energizers and still they barley give any light. They're more useful as a flashlight, and that's not saying much, I've had brighter flashlights on a keychain.I included a picture of both of these "cat toys" (bottom). You can see that a four dollar laser pointer I bought at Rite Aid (top) which runs on watch batteries, is 10X brighter.Oh and the bonus mouse is garbage too. Not one of my four cats bothered playing with it, even a single time.Save you money!!!! I wish I did!

 I noticed that my cats looked so bored and didn't get enough exercise or didn't really want to play with their toys. This laser perks them up immediately. Once they see that red light, they chase it around and it is really hilarious. So glad it came in a packet of two. Uses 1 AA battery and you're ready to go! Also, it doubles as an awesome LED flashlight that you can carry with you if you like.

This laser pointer is bigger than all other ones im used to. Does not come with batteries so you will need AA batteries. The pointer has a button which has 3 settings, the laser, a light, and the off setting. As soon as i opened it and put batteries, i played with my cat for half an hour... he was entertained till the last second. Once i turned it off he still kept looking for it. Poor kitty. Yes this is the first time for him playing with one. Also. I think its cool that this a two set and comes with a cute mouse.

I couldn't believe how cheap this laser pointer is -- two for well less than $10! And they work great. They both make a nice bright laser spot, and they also work as a flashlight. The flashlight is not overly bright, but it gets the job done. Perhaps best of all is that the device uses a standard AA battery. (Be aware that you have to install the battery with the + side down toward the spring in the laser pointer -- it looks opposite to what you might think.) The laser spot is super bright, making this laser device a great laser pointer as well as a fun cat toy. My chubby cat was immediately interested in catching the red dot, and she will chase this thing all over the house. Great fun for both me and the cat! It's easy to fit this laser pointer in the hand (see my photo), and it feels durable enough. For the price, it is an awesome deal... my cat and I both thank Amazon for this excellent deal.

This is so much nicer than the little plastic lights you get at the pet store. It seems durable and uses regular AA batteries. The cat follows me around when she sees me pick it up. I am sure it will provide hours of fun!

We are really happy with these laser pointers. There are four points that make these great. First is that you get two for a good price. Second is that the lasers are really bright. Third is that I don't have to hold my finger down on a small button to keep the laser going. Fourth is that they take one AA battery instead of the annoying watch batteries. One thing is that the battery direction is counter-intuitive. You put the positive (point) end of the battery against the spring. I thought they were broken until we figured that out.

I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase! This is my cat's favorite toy and I can just sit down and play with her. Love it!!
