Matcha Bowl Japanese Chawan (Jade Mist)

The color and the feel is great. It has a natural look to it and it is a shaped the way a matcha bull should be shaped, not perfect. The only problem it is too large to make a ceremonial batch of sencha tea. It splashes out of the bowl When you use the Whisk.

Really beautiful glazing pattern and color. Relatively durable and easy to drink from. Nice product at a good price.

Good quality. Size is good. Less contrast between colors in person than in Amazon photo. Happy overall.

It's a quaint little bowl, brilliant color, larger than expected but this is not a hand thrown object. It's cast in mediocre clay, no fiber and texture like a higher quality chawan. I was surprised it was on one piece as it arrived in a packing envelope with no insulation to protect a fragile item.
