I had my original remote on my porch and it stopped working. It looked like the battery corroded the connection spring a little. I looked at the old one with my smartphone camera and I couldn't see the infared light when I pushed the buttons. These two remotes that I bought on Amazon work Great. They are made for the one of the 1st generation of Rokus. I could see the infrared light in my camera. I needed an extra remote because I had a 2nd Roku that I had lost the remote for. For ten bucks, it was super cheap just to buy the two of these and not worry about trying to fix the old one. I will recommend these if you need them for an older Roku device.

Super easy to set up put batteries in and boom it worked but doesn't work as well as the original has little hiccups every once in a while. But it does work

We had to purchase replacement ones because we accidentally left ours on the couch and our pooch bit into it and broke it. This one came with two which works just in case. It was easy to pair the remote and all is well again: for the price and the two remotes I would recommend.
