I was looking for training equipment for my own dog and while currently working as a dog trainer myself, I could not leave this page without posting something - PLEASE DO NOT GET THINGS TO HIT YOUR DOG WITHOR USE "HITTING YOUR DOG AS A CORRECTIVE ASPECT OF TRAINING BEHAVIOR. Your dog will learn nothing with the use of this tool EXCEPT that you are capable of PHYSICAL VIOLENCE AND ABUSE and that YOU ARE A SOURCE OF FEAR for your dog - all things which lead to dogs that are more aggressively reactive, fearful, and less willing to listen you to. YOU ARE GOING TO DAMAGE YOUR RELATIONSHIP OF TRUST WITH YOUR DOG which is not only sad for both of you but can make training behaviors much more difficult.PLEASE CONSULT A LOCAL, FORCE-FREE DOG TRAINER (I discourage the use of shock collar/electrical collars/remote colors for the same reasons above) with any behavior or training issues. There are better, science and evidence-based training methods for ALL behaviors and you should not and DO NOT have to resort to this CRUDE, IMPRACTICAL, and PAIN- or FEAR-INDUCING product.While this product is titled "Dog Education Training Target", the intended use and description of this "beat your dog to learn stick" has no education, training, or even "targeting" component. And the "No Harm" piece is completely inaccurate as the intended use can easily backfire and create more issues. You are hitting your dog if you use this as it is marketed.I'll step off my soap box now, but I have seen how these tools deceive owners into trying a "quick fix" and ultimately ends up making a small behavior or training problem 1000% worse - trust me, PLEASE DO NOT USE OR SUPPORT THIS PRODUCT.
