Does the job. For the price a good display. Note that you will generally need to keep it powered, but (like most similar devices) it will pass power through to the laptop.

Purchased for extra screen for macbook pro, 2019. Good size to take onto plane in cabin luggage. Initially found screen a bit too dark to use for design work, but once High Dynamic Range (HDR) turned off in Display settings, all is good. Overall, a great portable monitor. Customer support was excellent.

DO NOT BUY!!!! The item is very poor, especially for that price. Doesn't function at all. For instance, the monitor doesn't function without being plugged in so that defeats the purpose of being portable. Way too expensive if it's actually not portable (which it isn't if you have to be plugged into an outlet at all times). The charger doesn't even work - I have to use my own Apple USB C - USB C cable and Apple adapter. My wireless mouse doesn't work on the monitor despite it working fine on my laptop. Without a mouse connecting you can't use the product as it's not touchscreen.

I have it paired with my Mac pro and it works Really good as a second monitor while I'm remote and moving around a lot. I started with 1080p which was not great then 2k which was better but once I got this 4k version it's very similar to Mac screen, maybe a little less bright but experience is exactly what I was looking for and you can easily extend to it without noticing too much of a diff
