Review: Beautiful. - Beautiful would seem to be the most appropriate word to describe this book. As a material artefact it is far more work of art than commodity. From the front cover onwards you are in the presence of something that is a visual delight. In the Intro Paul Garbutt writes that the book is 'a personal piece, more about feelings than facts, and effect rather than cause. I just bought Hawkwind albums, went to gigs, wore the tee shirts and had a wonderful time.' That is what the book is about; memories, reflections, relationships, the transcendent, hopes, meaning, purpose, community. Paul wisely widens out the book to include contributions from other voices and so you get a multiplicity of perspectives and experiences on the same theme from fans, dancers, collaborators all bringing their own individual experiences into focus. You've heard the phrase 'a labour of love'? This is it. Good for the soul. Something to appreciate. Review: Hawkwind review - A great read about personal history Of Paul's lifelong hawkwind experience Loved the layout and photos A journey through time shared by Paul Who is obviously a true fan

Fab book
What a refreshing and uplifting little book, lots of personal insights into how special we all feel at Hawkwind gigs. I particularly liked Andy Roberts and Jules Hawkdancer’s pieces. Some great colour photos, especially Chilling on p34. A very decent addition to the Hawkwind Library.
