BORLENI Motorcycle Jacket for Men with Armor Riding Jacket CE Approved

I ride a Yamaha Super Ténéré and I’ve been very impressed with this jacket for the price. The material feels durable and well made, especially considering the cost. The shoulder and elbow armor are thick and provide solid protection, while still being flexible and comfortable to wear. The back protector is fairly thin, but it’s still better than having no protection at all. For sizing reference, I’m 6’3” and 190 lbs. I normally wear a size Large in shirts and jackets, but after reading other reviews, I decided to order an XL. I’m glad I did because the fit is perfect. I’ve tried on some of the premium motorcycle jackets that cost $500 or more, and honestly, I feel this jacket offers very similar protection for a fraction of the price. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely buy this jacket again.

I wore this while riding a 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 as well as a 2025 Harley Davidson Breakout. Both don't have windshields. Good price for a motorcycle jacket with good looks, armor, and feel. This is good for over 55 degrees (F). Anything less, you're going to be cold, unless you have warm clothes underneath (or better yet, warming clothes). I've tried it in mid 70's as well (with the liner in) and it was comfortable. It looks good but the pictures on Amazon have a nicer "sheen" to them. So it looks good but not as good as it does in the pictures. It has fasteners in all the right places (wrists, arms, etc.). Decent pockets. Could always use more. Armor is adequate (the back armor is a bit thin but you can upgrade it yourself). At 6'1" and 215 lbs (weight lifter so a bit more upper body mass), it fit well and I could also wear a hard plastic chest and back shield under it (size XL). It's very lightweight so it doesn't burden you during your ride. Overall, I would buy this again. Looks: A+. Features: A. Protection: A. Cold Riding: A-. If it had a warmer liner (for like 35F riding), I'd give it 5 stars.

This is a great jacket, especially at the price. It's heavyweight, waterproof, and pretty comfortable considering it's built like a tank. The zippers are very high quality. Every bit of this jacket is very high quality. I was surprised when I received it just how heavy it was. Assuming I keep my wheels on the road, this will last for years - and if I don't, it's a small price to pay for the protection it provides. The shoulders, back, and elbows have good protection. You have the option to upgrade the pads to increase protection, but since I'm on an e-bike that won't exceed 30 MPH, I think the protection it provides is more than sufficient. The fabric alone provides a great deal of protection. I would size up. I would normally take a large, but it was too small once I put the pads in. I exchanged it for an XL and it fits perfectly, especially since it has Velcro straps at the waist that allow you to sinch it tighter around that area and prevent any wind from getting in. This jacket really is a tremendous value and great quality. I can't recommend it enough. I do wish they had the matching pants. You CAN get matching pants (with a different brand name, but obviously the same manufacturer) through other sites - you know the ones that take a couple of weeks to get an order. I do wish they had them her under this brand name. But it doesn't take away from the excellence of this jacket.

I normally wear xl shirts so I ordered the xxl jacket. To my surprise it was still too tight in the shoulders, I returned the xxl and got the 3xl. Perfect fit. It’s very good quality. Zippers and material are high quality. I live in Florida and it’s 99 outside. Tried it on on and was sweating. Should work great for mild Florida winters. I love IronJias products. I have gloves and motorcycle boot from them and love all their products so far. Get this jacket.

This review will be highly subjective, because this jacket is very much a use-case scenario; i.e.: if it's for the reasons I bought it and will note here, great, buy it. If you're looking for something that goes more towards the negatives I point out, go with something else. Overall, I say it's a great buy for the price, especially compared with brand-name stuff. Pros: Out of the box, everything seems to be good quality, especially for the price; seems quite robust in fabric and stitching, and looks like it will take a good roughing-up and not tear up, but only time will tell. Regarding size: if you're looking to use it over other clothing, especially regular wear (I was/am), then the sizing is good; if you're looking for the adjusted/super-sport canyon/track carver fit, go a size smaller, or with a different design/style altogether, as it's slightly bulky. Re the fabric weight, same thing, I wanted it as a super outer layer, but if you're doing track days and stuff, get something else (it's almost more of sport-tourer jacket than a super-sport, although I imagine it would be good for cruisers and standards). The removable liner is perfect for my case: not too thick and warm (S. FL; and I didn't even break a sweat riding home int he Miami heat this PM from the pickup point)), but good insulation on chilly mornings, and easy to install/remove. Same with the armor pieces. Limited adjustability, but there is some weight snaps and straps (see below as well). Cons: It's quite a bit brighter/"orangier" red than appears in the listing. I imagine this will fade with time and usage (sun exposure), and it actually insures greater visibility, but it's definitely an octave up from Honda Red (I'm a Honda guy). The pockets are smaller than expected; they work fine, but getting gloves in and out of them is not as smooth as I'd want. The adjustment snaps and straps are fine, but the folds created in the fabric when they're used look like the'll cause a little wind drag; again, only time and use will tell here (same with weather-proofing).

Last Update 1 year 5 months later👇 Let me start by saying this is my wife's account so this review is by a man and now the review The jacket has exceeded all my expectations it survived it's first winter season here in Florida I wore it with a hoodie sweatshirt underneath with the provided liner that came with the jacket kept my very comfortable and warm cruising around the city at 45mph with the occasional 55mph but once the weather dropped to around 30 degrees Fahrenheit I had to remove the hoodie sweatshirt and add a heated vest instead only because of the wind chill I know that's not freezing but keep in mind I was born and raised down here in Florida and I work night shift so I tend to get cold easily but I rode all winter every day the jacket kept me very comfortable and warm and now the test for summer in the direct sunlight with a temperature of 90 degrees Fahrenheit sitting in stop and go traffic so roughly around 100+ with liner out I was very comfortable and cool once up to speed I almost felt like adding the liner back to the jacket I could definitely feel the wind and it was chilly so yes I would absolutely 💯% say this is a great jacket for hot summer riding here in Florida so yes the jacket looks great still and all the buttons and zippers are doing great no rips or loose threading the jacket looks like it did the first time I put it on my only real complaint is not be able to machine wash I hate hand washing buy anyway if you made it this far thank you for taking the time to read this paragraph of horrible grammar ride safe keep it on two wheels and yes buy the jacket First review.....👇 The jacket looks even more badass in person very comfortable the color is amazing the buttons seem very strong the zippers seem very strong the armor pockets have zipper enclosure very nice the back armor is inserted behind the insulated lining back armor fits very well and is held in a pocket the back armor feels great barely even know it’s back there the shoulder armor feels nice covers the whole shoulder top and side the elbow armor is perfectly placed it lined up with my elbows nicely the jacket wrists have Velcro straps to adjust the size of your wrists the jacket is very lightweight with no armor inserted once the armor is inserted it gains a little weight but nothing too crazy heavy I went with the level 2 orange upgrade armor I did not use the armor provided with the jacket the elbows and shoulder armor that come with the jacket are great looking seem very strong but the back armor that comes with the jacket is lacking I would definitely recommend upgrading the back armor at least all in all I’m extremely impressed with this jacket I will update after 1 year 5 foot 9 inches 170 pounds Waist size 32 Slim build dad bod belly I went with the size large Jack True to size with armor inserted Becomes a little baggy with armor out

Arm length was a little off but besides that it is a great fit. Water resistant, works great, zipper is made of excellent quality. Definitely recommend. Haven't used it in any extreme cold weather but as warm as it feels fully zipped up without the liner I imagine the cold we get in Ga I will be ok.

Missing the 5 protective parts

Just received the jacket. First impressions ... perfect fit, Nice looking, seems to be what I expected it to be. Putting the protection pads for schoulders and elbows was easy, the back foam plate was a bit tricky as it doesn't just slide in and the fitting pouch is just a little narrow, but once in place all ok. The zipper for the inner lining is not that great and I wouldn't use it much, so be careful while using it. It nice you can adjust the arm tightness, the waste band and pols openings. The side pockets are not really well placed for easy access. The removable pads for elbows and shoulders are nice thick and shock absorbed. The back plate (foam) could have been thicker. (I would place a thicker one or same but double, but due to the close fit of the pocket that will not be possible. ) It's Thursday today and hope to test it out this weekend. Oh, by the way, it's to ridecmy EUC, not a motorcycle ;-)

La Chaqueta muy bien, es de cordura. Tiene un diseño muy chulo, y trae las protecciones para ponérselas a parte. Queda pegadita y te quita todo el viento y la tela es dura. La recomiendo!!! Esta bien de precio relación calidad.
