Nice, does job
I went one-for-one making my first acme thread with this to help me grind my HSS cutter and thread the shaft. Does the job.Sure, you could buy 1/10th of a Starrett 284 for the price, but then you have to share it with like 9 other guys and that's probably inconvenient.

Decent acme thread gauge, helped me get the job done
Handy, compact thread gauge for creating an acme tool. It contains the 29 degree included angle, and the tip sizes appropriate for each thread size. I used the tool to help me grind a 5 TPI acme tool from a HSS tool blank. I then used the tool to make a 5 TPI acme thread on my lathe.It appears the notches are somewhat crudely cut out. They work, but I deducted a star due to workmanship. Overall, a functional tool, although the tip notches could be more finished.

This thing is well built and will definitely not bend or break during normal use way better quality then expected!

Good Value, Good Tool.
good value, excellent form and finish. i used it immediately when grinding a 1/2" x 10tool bit and the resulting thread fit the inside thread mating half.

Heads up people
i did receive replacement acme gauge this one is more defined on the laser cutting but still has #6 smaller then #7 all the othere thread pitch's are good. SO !!! i'm going to change the #6 to #7 then change the #7 to #6 on this gauge then this should take care of this gauge I have. i'm not to happy about it and will run a test thread to a female check and hopefully I'll be able to spin the male thread of the female threads off without a lockup. for those who know what l mean.

Quality product.
I bought this to measure ground HHS tools for cutting acme threads. It is heavy built and should last many years.
