An excellent value for an electric guitar
The media could not be loaded. The Leo Jaymz "Double Cut Standard" is a very playable, excellent value guitar. The fretboard is finished very nicely with no sharp edges on any of the frets. The neck binding is smooth and has no gaps. This instrument competes very well with any guitar in the sub-$300 price range and is as good or better than some guitars costing even more. The electronic components are adequate and can be easily upgraded if desired to get pro-quality tone. The guitar shown in the demo video is completely stock with the original strings. There have been no adjustments to the neck, bridge, or intonation. It just needed to be tuned up and then it plays great right out of the box. The volume and tone controls provide a nice variety of tones from bright to mellow. If you are in the market for a good looking, full featured "SG" style guitar at a budget price, you can't go wrong with the Leo Jaymz "Double Cut Standard".

Bang for the buck!
I literally just got one of these delivered about an hour ago. It feels and plays great! I like it better than the Epiphone Special P90 I bought a month ago. It's nice and lightweight by comparison. The fretwork is really nice. No sharp ends. The finish is beautiful, no blemishes no marks and the American flag design is just sweet. The tuners are actually really smooth and once the strings stretched and settled it seems to be holding tune well. It will need a small amount of truss rod adjustment but I'm going to let it acclimatize to my houses temperatures and humidity before I go tweaking on it. Overall this is a great budget friendly guitar that sounds awesome out of the box. The only thing I can say is needed is labeling on the box to let the delivery drivers know to handle them a bit better.

Performs as expected
This guitar is exactly what you would expect from a guitar in this price range. First off, it looks great. No blemishes in the finish, no scratches or dings. Out of the box it was almost perfectly intonated, the frets were done well, every component worked.Overall playability: stays in tune relatively well, especially compared to other "budget" models I've owned. The pickups are by far the weakest point on this guitar. They have fairly high output, but it's quite obvious as soon as you plug it in that they are not high quality. Pretty easy fix.Pros:Great priceGreat looksPlays okCons:Pickup qualityThis guitar would make a fantastic mod base. Swap out pickups and maybe the tuners, and you've got yourself a decent piece.

Beautiful guitar!
Let me preface this review by saying that I’m not being paid to do this review, have been working on guitars for many years and know what I am talking about. This review is my personal experience with one guitar. That being said, this guitar is beautiful, was setup very well and was playable right out of the box. All I had to do was tune it and it was ready to go! I did eventually replace the bridge with one of a little better quality. The original bridge worked pretty well, but the saddles were just a little wobbly, which is common with guitars in this price range. This is my second Leo Jaymz guitar, I also own the US flag Strat style guitar and this double cut SG model seems to be the better built of the two. The neck feels great and kinda on the slim side with nicely finished frets. The guitar weighs about 6 lbs 14 ozs, and seems very sturdily built. I have been playing guitar for around 40 years and own about 17 guitars. I would definitely gig with this guitar and at $129 it is an exceptional value.

Great deal for the price
First, where did they cut costs that makes a noticeable difference:The tuners and bridge are junk. They work, but they are the least viable product for their function. The tuners actually do a decent enough job holding tune, but the bridge saddles are poorly machined and allow the higher strings to slide sideways on bends. Easy enough to replace, though. The pickups also don’t sound like they are wax potted. They are VERY microphonic, but mine actually sound great, otherwise. I will wax pot them, but most people won’t be able to deal with this. If the tone remains after potting, I’ll be even happier, as this guitar gives me that classicGibson sound more than my more expensive guitars.Other than the above, the guitar looks great, and after some setup, plays well, too. I’m sure the electronics aren’t top of the line, but they are matched well to my pickups, and the individual tone and volume on this SG are a very nice feature at this price. I show it off to other guitar players as an example of how nice of a guitar they could have for relatively little money.

Excellent value for the money
Ready to play right out of the box. Beautiful finish throughout. No flaws at all, and more importantly, the action is flawless. No intonation adjustments needed at all, just tuning, and yes a change of strings. But otherwise, sounds and plays wonderfully!

The worst guitar fit and finish I've ever seen
The one that showed up here was horrible. Had a half inch gap where the nick joined the body the pickups were not in a straight line. I put it back in the box and returned it. Never played it. I think a 5 year old could build a better guitar. I ordered it based on reviews but like I said the one that showed up here was the worst guitar I've ever laid eyes on.
