Great product

This item doesn't do what they claim at all it is unusable. I work with copper tubing every day and were it dose flare the end of it but you can't get the flare nut back up the tubing to seat the flare in the nut because it swelled the tubing for 1/2 "in front of the flare and can't seat in the nut i highly recommend not buying this item it will just screw you out of your money

This is no good for flaring copper pipe. Wasted my money by buying this item. The makers of this item didnt do a gd job at all. Do not buy this item for flaring copper pipe

Flare tool works well for mini split soft copper flares, it does not make a perfect flare like a good flare tool. But the flare is very close just a little rounded on the shoulder, when you tighten the flare nut it finishes the flare well. My opinion is that an experienced installer with a good flare tool will do a better flare than these, but many guys still cannot make a good flare with the best of flare tool. I think I can hand this to an inexperiened guy and he will likely get a better flare with this with minimal directions than a standard flare tool.One thing with this is you cannot keep pushing once the pipe hits the little "stop lip" on the tool, if you keep pushing it will make a larger and poor flare. I tested using a flare gauge and if you stop when the copper hits the stop lip, the flare is the proper size, but if you keep pushing against the lip the flare becomes too large and distorted.

Worst piece of crap I ever bought 45 years in the hvac business and THE SINGLE WORST PIECE OF CRAP EVER !!!!!!!

This item is not flaring 45 degree standards for Hvac flaring
