The best choice, encourages my pup to be in the water and supported. Encourages him to feel safe and not cold. My puppy is 10ths and holds him up but he is still submerged in the water so he feels included.

We keep our dogs nails short, but they ripped through the mesh pretty easily! Mesh is just low quality! Floated our 20lbs dog good! But just not worth the money!

With warmer summer weather upon us, I've spent more time in our apt complex swimming pool. My 10y 22-lbs Chi-terrier mix HATES the water, but she dislikes being separated from me even more. I ordered this Pet Soft Dog Float Raft with the hopes that she could somehow join me and finally learn to like floating in the water.I have a small electric air pump, so inflation was very fast and easy. The air pump comes with several different nozzles, and the smallest one fit perfectly. The inner tube has had no leaks after several uses. Deflation is also very easy, with or without the air pump. When dried, I store it in the zippered packaging bag it was shipped in.The outer fabric feels fairly durable, and has withstood the flailing nails of a panicked water-nervous dog. The holes in the middle of the float let just enough water in to keep my dog cool, and fortunately my dog is small enough that the float supports her securely. She's not a water dog and will never love the water, but with this float she has tolerated it fairly well.I think this dog float is sturdy enough to last a few summers. The fabric completely encases the inflatable inner tube, so if it starts to leak air, it would be difficult to patch. I also worry about the durability of the fabric overall -- it's thin and light to keep the float buoyant, but this means it can rip more easily, too. However, this float is priced reasonably enough that I probably wouldn't be too upset if my dog ends up destroying it.Overall, if you're a dog parent looking for a solidly constructed float for your small-to-medium-sized fur baby, I'd recommend this product for your consideration.
