I used this trey for the first time on a 13 hour trip to IL. My daughter was able to use it while coloring. I did not worry about her Crayons or markers rolling off because of the sides that go up about 2 in. She was able to store her Crayons and markers in 1 of the side mesh holders. She uses a Britex Car seat and it fit fine. The only thing I do not like is that it is difficult to buckle and unbuckle while she is strapped in. We had to buckle and unbuckle it while she was unstrapped. It is very easy to clean. My daughter got some of her Crayons on there and it wiped right up with a baby wipe. While the tray is definitely a great size, and the mesh pockets are easy to reach, it doesn't quite fit very well on our Evenflo Tribute 5 Car Seat. The 'arms' of the car seat slope downward towards the back of the seat, so the tray also slopes back towards our child - which would normally be a plus (everything would roll back towards him!) BUT the tray depth means that there is quite a large gap between where the tray ends, and where my child is sitting, so things tend to fall down into his lap or by his sides. Granted, my son is 2.5, so as he grows that gap will shrink, and he'll be more able to find what's fallen on his own. The tray stays 'secured' by straps that go around the back of the car seat, which means you have to loosen the car seat before installing the tray, so it can't be done on-the-fly. Also, while the straps have 2 connection points (so it can be clipped/unclipped from either side of the tray), there isn't any tightening mechanism on the strap, so I had to tie knots in the strap to keep the tray tightened in place. Overall this product could benefit from some redesign, but for the cost it's doing an adequate job.

I purchased this to use for my 3 year old daughter on a 7 hour car ride. It did it's job. She was able to play with some of her toys, without them falling off of her lap like usual, she was able to eat comfortably and she stored some toys on the side compartments. The only complaint I have is that the nylon buckle strap doesn't adjust in length. The nylon buckle strap was TOO long even after I fit it around my daughter's car seat. I thought this would be a problem, but her car seat and her legs helped to keep the tray in place. This is the only reason I don't give 5 stars.

Our tray has been through some abuse the past year and it still works. We've used it for entertainment on car trips and as a table for snacks. Fore functional for our car seat in front facing than it is in rear facing. I've thrown this thing in the washing machine a few times and it is holding up surprisingly well. The only thing is that recently the buckle came unattached from the fabric but that might have been my husband trying to pull it away without unbuckling it first. Overall I am pleased with this purchase and I would make it again in the future.

What a great product. I ordered 2 for a 15 hour road trip for my 3.5y & 18m girls. We did a test run and they are perfect. My oldest ate her lunch using the tray without a mess & my youngest used her yogurt to draw on hers. Easy to clean. Other people mentioned the soft sides, I inverted them during storage and popped them back when I put the trays on. I also don't know what people are saying about it being too soft to color on. I found them to be sturdy enough, besides you don't want hard plastic in case of an accident.

People complain about the edges and it being soft but we really haven't had any issues with it my 3 yr old likes having a table top for long trips to eat on, watch movies or play games on the I pad ,for coloring ( we use a clipboard for extra support) for the price point this is great the one thing I would change is placement of the clasp I wish it was on the side and not behind the seat it make it hard when your on a long trip and have to get in and out of the car for pitt stops.

This tray is suitable for our needs however it does lack in some areas. The tray is soft which is nice for comfort but lousy for support . It angles down when being used so many things fall out of the the child's reach. the strap that secures the tray is also not adjustable. We have a fairly beefy carseats and the strap is still not short enough to get the tray in the right position so we've had to ghetto rig it to make it work right.

This is a decent tray, but definately not ideal. It is very soft and the sides are difficult to force back into shape. However, it did do its job to keep crayons from rolling off while on a long trip and he was able to color on a coloring book on it. It did not fit well across my son's car seat, wasn't wide enough. We were also sent the squared one, not the rounded one I thought I had ordered.
