Autumn is here! Paperback – Illustrated, September 21, 2012

The best way for children to learn about the world around them is to surround them with it. This book has beautiful illustrations in it that are accessible to children even when an adult isn't reading it to them. The story itself is also lovely.

This book is beautifully arranged and absolutely perfect as a fireside read. I love the illustrations. My kids got familiar with the repeat passage and were thrilled whenever I would turn the page and they could all yell it out again. This is the kind of book that can get the whole family involved in story time. The book is longer than many of the other kids picture books I have seen recently and that made me happy as I usually end up looking for something else to read after a minute. Great book will look for more by this author.

Love this picture book! Beautiful colourful illustrations and a perfect amount of text (not too little, not too much). Informative and fun read. I love that it has an upbeat positive focus throughout. Well done! Hope to see more soon - perhaps the other seasons? (diversity for both hemispheres - northern and southern) :-) Great stuff! This is a very well made children's book. I loved the illustrations. Most of the kids books now all have digital art which is great but I still like to see books like this one that look more like an artist's painting. This is a lovely addition to my child's growing e-book library.

I love this book. The illustrations are so simple yet beautiful. The text is perfect for young children and covers all the changes they will see in autumn.

I read this to my 5 yo son and he was pretty bored. We also have a basic Kindle, so I can't comment on the pictures but I bet they are the best part of the book.

I'm a first grade teacher and I used this book to introduce Autumn. I like this text because it uses beautiful illustrations for each page.

This is a very small book but the problem is the terminology on Page 6 which could result in some problems! The pictures are reasonable but not worth taking a chance with the terminology.

Nice enough story but very cheaply put together, didn’t feel very ‘special’. Stapled together, with no spine, smaller than expected and cheap paper. Quite expensive for what it is.

This is a nice nostalgic tale with repeating lines. I love the illustrations and the choice of colours and sketches. My infants happily sat and talked about the story. The only reason it hasn't got 5* is the book should really be called "Fall is here!" Autumn is used in the title and the book is printed in Great Britain but the illustrations, the language and the spellings have a definite American feel.

Very poor quality. Is as thought it's. Just been printed and stapled together. Disappointing as bought for my class but not very durable.
