Fresh Key Limes 3 lbs.

First time using these. Glad they are available. I tested one lime and it seemed sweet and a very nice juice for a key lime pie.

My husband is from Florida. We live in Seattle. After about five years of listening to him dream about real key lime pie, I did an Amazon search and found these babies. Now I live just about as far as you can be from Florida and still be in the continental US. In my two purchases I received perfectly ripe and fresh key limes. I saw some complaints in other reviews, but my experience with this company has been amazing. My orders arrived quickly and well packaged. None of them were bruised, crushed, old, or needed to be thrown out. I've never had one bad lime delivered. It's purely my own speculation, but I'm not sure I believe the negative reviews are the fault of the company. It's easy to let something sit for a long time and let it go bad. Maybe they were left on their doorstep during extreme weather? I don't know. But what I do know is that both of my experiences from clear across the country exceeded my expectations. And the pies came out great!

The packaging is really good . I left it out for more than two days and it still looks good !

I have ordered these key limes so many times and each time they come differently. Today we got them and they were huge like limes and don’t even taste like Key limes. I am unable to return them, but would like a full refund. Very disappointed! In the pictures, it shows the size of the last ones I got in these.

Definitely pay attention to the season.. and package arrived all bent up. Some were good will others needed to be trashed.

These arrived quickly after ordering. They were very fresh. I use them to make delicious key lime pies.

These limes came quickly and were absolutely perfect. I made zest and juice and froze it for use all year. I highly recommend buying and freezing your key lime zest/juice. It's so much nicer than the bottled stuff!

The flavor was fine, but nothing special. None of them produced much juice. I have decided to buy the normal size limes you find in the grocery store year round. They contain 120% more juice !
