Did the job perfectly.
I purchased a new SSD drive in order to speed up my aging laptop, however I was unable to remove the keyboard because one screw appeared to have been stripped during the build process at the factory. After trying various methods, none of which worked, I found a YouTube video which demonstrated the use of these tools for removing similarly threaded screws. Most of the Amazon reviews of this product seemed positive, but there were some which stated they did not work, so I was in two minds as to whether these would actually help. Eventually I decided to give these a try and purchased the tools in the hope I would not need to break the laptop in order to fit the new drive.Unfortunately there are no instructions provided with the tools, although there is a reference to instructions on the Moodys site which was not available when I checked. Therefore I used the tools as suggested in the YouTube video, starting with the smallest and working up through the sizes, none of which appeared to make any progress. After considerable effort with no progress, I was about to give up, however I tried one last time and to my surprise the screw turned and I was able to remove it.The process I used which eventually worked was to apply pressure and twist the tool back and forth in the screw head until it gets a grip and manages to turn the screw. You might need to do this for a long time, depending on how tightly the screw has been fitted and how long it takes for the tool to dig into the metal and obtain a grip.As to the tools themselves, they appear to be of a good strong quality that are just the right size for the job. They arrived quite quickly and in my opinion are well worth the purchase. I hope this review helps someone who finds themselves in the same frustrating situation and I would certainly recommend trying to open your laptop before purchasing a new SSD or memory, just in case there is an issue with one or more screws!

Fantastic set of tools
I needed something to help with a partially stripped screw on my MacBook (damaged when using a different, cheaper, set of micro-screwdrivers) - I was all prepared to use the extractor, but in the end didn't need to, as the 1.8mm screwdriver did the job itself - worked a dream.I was a little concerned by the bad review on amazon.co.uk, as compared to the mostly glowing reviews for what seemed to be the same product on amazon.com - the seller confirmed it was the same product, and the quality is great.

Cheap junk? No, EXPENSIVE junk
I bought this set to extract a very small and extremely tight screw I'd stupidly stripped the head of using an electric screwdriver. I'd hesitated just drilling the screw out as it was above a costly circuit board. These seemed like the perfect solution. Unfortunately the tools in this set made absolutely no difference to using the jewellers screwdrivers I already had. There was some of the screw head left but not enough for a regular screwdriver to turn, and these tools were useless in leveraging that. In desperation I tried one of the slightly smaller extractors in case it could grab onto remains in the middle of the screw the correct sized one was missing. The downward force needed to keep contact with the screw was enough to completely destroy the head of the smaller extractor, which was frankly pathetic, and clearly not fit for purpose. In the end I ditched this junk and just drilled the screw out before removing what was left with pliers. All of which turned out to be a hell of a lot simpler and less aggravating then relying on these useless - and very pricey - implements.
