This is by far the best microwave heating pad! The heat stays and it’s very therapeutic! It’s soft and conforms to your body. The pad has straps so it can be tied around your waist and shoulders. Not only can this be used as a heating source but can be used as a cold compress by placing it in the freezer. I have purchased 3; one for myself, one for my husband and daughter. I highly recommend!

This item was good quality and size, but it's problem is loosing heat too fast, it keeps water warm for max 20-30 minutes.

Again this item is perfect for my needs & excellently made. Will use it in the car on lower tummy & upper thigh for IC & pelvic floor pain. The XL size, weigh, & ties allow me to use it in the car or at my destination. Heats in microwave & can tie it under my shirt discreetly. My family & I use other items from SunnyBay daily. The moist heat from heating in microwave is the best therapy. Thank y'all so much.

I ride a horse - sometimes my back hurts, my shoulders and neck hurt. I can't always figure whether heat or cold is going to feeling better. Horses riding like many other physically demanding sports can be tough on your body, especially as your grow older and have accumulated some injuries. Several years ago I bought a microwavable pad like the BioMed called a Thermalon, but now its Amazon reviews (thank you!) are not great. So I searched for a different vendor, but similar design as the Thermalon. This product is far superior for several reasons. The Biomed:(1) has a much better, softer, more inviting cover - soft fleece on one side and a more duct-like material on the other. Pick which side the side that delivers what you like; (2) is larger, so it covers several inches above and below my waist; (3) can be tied around your neck so it will cover the neck and top of shoulders at the same time; and (4) holds the heat or cold for a longer period of time. Only negative, the BioMed cost twice as much as the Thermalon, but given the negative reviews about the material not wearing well, the BioMed is probably still a good deal

This Lower Back and Shoulder Joint Heat Wrap with Strap by BioMed DB Design is superb. It is so difficult to find a heated pad of any kind that stays in place on a joint like a knee, shoulder or elbow. As I explained in a review of the Microwave Neck Heating Pad my daughter had surgery that was successful but the pain in her shoulders was not relieved. Neither pain pills nor muscle relaxers helped relieve the pain. We tried turkish towel wraps that stayed in place okay, but the heat was short-lived. We tried regular heating pads, but they do not stay in place unless you sit and hold them which causes other discomfort. Phoning the BioMed company to discuss the neck pad, they explained this product and we felt it was worth trying. It is so wonderful! She can sit or move around, bend over, lay down and it stays right where you place it. The heat does miraculous things to ease the shoulder pain. Used together with the heated neck pad, it gives her almost complete relief and she feels like smiling for the first time in months. This is a fantastic find from a company who listens and cares.
